The transaction date was 9/22/2022. I was called by one of Timeshare Legal Reps around 5pm CST. Everything thing had to be done that night according to the Rep. So, I signed the paper work but realized my wife hadnt signed because the timeshare is in both our names. But the wouldnt void the contract and let us resign with both are names. The next day a someone was suppose to call to welcome and go over the next steps but no one called so I had to called. At that point I had doubts about this company. Something just didnt sit right with me. So I called and reach the VPs of the company. They assured my wife and I that everything would be ok because my biggest concern was my credit. I was ready to cancel and pay whatever fee required. But my wife and I said we would give Timeshare Legal one more shot. We were promised that the $20 monitoring fee would be waved but that never happened and when I went to sign up for the credit service it said I couldnt be identified. That sent a red flag up for me, It said I would have to wait 30 days then try again. At that point I was fed up and just want to cancel and pay whatever fee I have to pay. So, I called and sent emails letting Timeshare Legal know I want to cancel and pay cancellation fee. No one has called me back . I called they say they will call me back but nothing yet. I am a disabled veteran with PTSD and many other disabilities. I worked to hard for my country and my money for Timeshare Legal to treat me this way. I just want to pay the cancellation fee and sever my ties with the company. I dont feel like this company has my familys best interest in mind. I hope we can come to some sort of resolution to this problem. I cant take a chance with damaging my credit therefore I am requesting a contract cancellation.
