      They are nothing but a scam and a joke. I bought three costumes from them they were over a week late coming in so I refuse to order. They received the order and confirmed that they received it and refused to give me my refund by giving me a constant runaround about which department's job it was to do that and that nobody had processed it yet that's been since October the 31st of 2023 it is now March the 8th of 2014.

Upon review, we do see an electronic refund attempt entered 11/4/23 that was not received, and a manual refund was entered with the ****************** for resolution on 12/13/23. System records show this refund was completed by the ****************** on 1/15/24, and would have posted to the account within a few business days. Thank you.

      I bought a costume, and it did not fit. I returned the costume and paid the postage myself. Spirit Halloweens customer service was contacted more than four times. I was promised a refund and even told that the tax would be refunded first, a smaller amount, and the cost of the costume would be refunded later. I was sent emails confirming that a refund was made, but it was not true. I have even spoken to customer service reps over the phone several times, and they also outright lied about the refund. This is not a responsible, reliable or trustworthy company. I will never purchase a costume from them again.

      Good afternoon Les. We're sorry to hear you did not receive the refund for this returned order. Once an electronic refund is initiated, it runs automatically until the process is complete and the funds are released to your account. If any errors occur, interrupting this process, the refund may appear completed in the system despite the funds not being received. Unfortunately once an electronic refund is processed, it cannot be re-initiated, and a manual refund would need to be processed instead. Upon review, we do see an electronic refund attempt entered 12/1/23 that was not received, and a manual refund is now pending with the ****************** for this order to be issued via Paypal. We sincerely apologize for the delay, as the team is working through high volumes of manual refunds in the order received. We have escalated the details of this refund to the supervisors in the ****************** and requested immediate assistance in having this processed for you.       Bad customer service! They sold me an inflatable costume with a broken fan so the costume wouldnt work. I asked for a refund. I had to email them several times. I got a new timeline each time. Im still waiting for my refund 60 business days later!! I finally made an appeal with my credit card. Spirit Halloween Dont bother giving me one of your generic apologies that is disingenuous and wont amount to anything being corrected. We know your awful business model by now.

The ****************** is working through these manual refunds as quickly as possible in the order received, and is advising of delays due to the high volume of manual refunds to be processed.       Placed an order in October, shipped it back before November and never got a refund for it. I have emailed customer service every few weeks and keep getting the run around on why they cant issue a refund directly. It is now almost February and I still havent gotten my money back. I called again today and got the same im pushing your refund through to finance response that I have gotten every time I have contacted them. This place needs to be shut down if they cant give people their money back.

      Been waiting almost three months for a refund from a return and it seems to be a use after excuse. 5-7 business days doesnt equal out to three months. All other low grade reviews Ive seen are from not receiving refunds, and now I know Never to use them again for anything. Theyre scammers. Three months and still waiting for a single refund.

      Wow! So thankful to see other reviews; it appears that my experience is like so many others and the terrible business model and customer service that ********************** runs on. I made my order on 10/19/23 which showed that it was shipped but never left the store and wasnt delivered. I have been waiting and trying to receive my refund since 11/1/23. Spirit Halloween says the refund is processed, but it doesnt clear my credit card. They say that they have sent my refund through PayPal, but the funds arent sent. Every time you call they say it will be 7 business days. They are so crooked that I will never be a customer again. What a shame **********************! They deserve 0 stars and to be shut down. Part of the reason they appear to be in business is that they steal money.

      I paid for my kids costumes on October 21,2023 three one came the other two didnt call them to let them know they say we are sending two more a couple days before Halloween I call they havent left for shipping they say we sold out so why nobody called or why I wasnt refund right away but what ever call they supposed to refund my email said 7 to 14 days but when you talk to somebody they say 21 how ever its 2 days before Christmas I still dont have my money back like wow how is it legal to just hold somebody money after you say you going to refund and o really didnt get costumes before they was sold out from the beginning. So mad Im a single mother of 3 kids I was try to leave no stars

      I placed an order on Oct 15, 2023. It was shipped but for some reason, it was immediately returned to them so I never received the order. I initiated a refund with them over the phone on Oct. 31, 2023. I have now spoken to 3 different people over the course of these many weeks with the same BS run around that they have sent it up to the next level of management to authorize my refund and I should see me refund on my credit card within a few days. Here it is now December 20, 2023 and still NO REFUND! They owe me $130.00+. **************** sucks!I will NEVER order or shop with them again!!! VERY DISSATISFIED and ready to take legal action to get my money.

      I placed an order in September, plenty of time for the Halloween season. Not only did it show up outside of my delivery time (October 12) I was lied to and given the run around for months (even now December 14) A spirit employee took it upon themselves to replace the order on my behalf without consulting me. Not only was I charged, but they sent out the incorrect item. I offered to return the incorrect item to the store while they ship the correct one. I was instructed to keep it and we would still get the item I originally ordered. They have since lost the order twice. Promised me a $50 gift card (nowhere to be seen) My sister placed an order for the same item and it was shipped a few hours later. She has yet to get it, but my order has never made it past being lost in the warehouseMy emails and phone calls were screened. I was treated rudely by every employee I spoke to. The only time Ive gotten any response is through ******* DM, still my main resource of communication with the company. Spirit Halloween ruined my sons Halloween, and is about to ruin my sons belief in Santa Claus as this is what hes asked for.
