      I purchased a home warranty in October ******* May 2025, I had a whining noise in my HVAC. I filed a claim. After a couple weeks, I checked on my claim. *** said they were trying to find someone in the area. I gave them multiple options.After SEVEN weeks, they said they had a ***** Associate to look at my ****. The tech showed up and said he couldn't help me. The furnace sounded great, the noise was in the ductwork. Nothing was done.July 7th, I noticed a huge crack inside the freezer side of my refrigerator. I placed a claim. Two days later, my refrigerator stopped working completely. I updated my claim. I received no response. When I checked with ***, they said they were "looking for a tech in my area." I lost all food in my fridge AND freezer...and waited. After 10 days, I checked my claim. "Still looking for a tech in my area." I purchased a new fridge and had it delivered on July 18th.I notified ***. They insisted on a "conference call the following day." I spoke with two Reps: ******** ****** and ******** **** They EMPHATICALLY said they would not cover any of the cost of my new fridge because they hadn't "approved" the purchase. I reiterated the loss of all my food and waiting ten days... and they insisted they would not cover any part of the cost of my fridge because it wasn't approved by HWA.I asked how long I was supposed to wait for assistance with no fridge, HWA said they just hadn't found a tech yet to look at my old fridge.

      This company is not honoring the contract and are giving me the run around. I absolutely do not recommend them.

      I should have never signed up with them. My Air-conditioned stop working - I contacted them and it took 9 days for them to send someone. This is during a 90+ heat waive! The guy came and looked. I told him the Freon lasted 2 days after I paid $1600.00 to clean and fill to a private service person, so there must be a leak. I do not know where the leak is, and my AC unit is over 30 years old. They denied my claim because policy does not cover a leak from the pipe. I told him no one checked where the leak came from, and he said he had a photo showing the guy finding a leak in the pipe. I asked for a copy of the photo, and they never sent it. (Obviously). This is a scam. Do not sign with them.

      ZERO STARS!!!!DONT sign up for this home warranty company!!!! The worst customer service! You need to call multiple times for a return call if youre lucky. We replaced our pool pump for a brand new one (supposedly) but it stopped working after 1 week!!! We are in the process of trying to have this completely replaced but we are playing phone tag between this **** company & the repair company!! Unnecessary. Unprofessional & an overall terrible company!

      *** would not cover the cost of a furnace replacement because the technician did not get them an itemized quote in time. (only 1 business day!!!) *** approved 10% of the full amount and told me it cannot be changed after they approve something. Do not use this company, they will come up with any reason to deny you.

WHILE THEY HAVE A BBB PROFILE, IT IS FAKE AND A PUBLIC SCAM - YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE FRAUDULENT PRACTICES OF THIS COMPANY. THIS COMPANY SHOULD CEASE TO EXIST.****BEWARE****

      Zero help from them. My refrigerator went out on Father's Day and it's still not fixed or replaced. Every attempt to contact them or get help makes me want to tear my hair out. Tell everyone you know to stay far away from this company.

      This will be the 4th attempt to get my A.C. unit fixed. I contacted them on May 7 th to address this. They set an appt with 2 different companies. The first didn't show, neither did the 2nd. They told me to find someone myself so I did. They told me to cancel claim 18*****. So I did. Then won't let me file a new claim, Im supposed to use the old claim #. Nothing is consistent within this company!!Twice Ive been told my claim has been escalated. Then I hear nothing back from them. It's now mid June and the house is HOT, so I hired someone to do the repairs and am going after them for a reimbursement. I will go to small claims court if necessary.GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!! They are horrible!!! I'd leave zero stars if possible, but the make you at least choose one.

      If I had a place to describe this company it's the commode. They never accept any claims made, make up their policies with their own loopholes , never a clear answer and no proof of findings other than "what the technician said" I wouldn't accept this company ever again if it was free for life! Lawsuit in route

      HOME WARRANTY OF AMERICA IS IS DECEITFUL AND MISLEADING WARRANTY COMPANY. ON 6/18/25 I REACHED OUT TO THEM REGARDING A PLUMBING/LEAK ISSUE AND HAS YET TO BE RESOLVED. A TECHNICIAN CAME OUT TO INSPECT THE LEAK AND INDICATED HE WOULD BE SENDING THEM THE REPORT. WE PAID THE $75 SERVICE FEE. MY CLAIM #********. TO BEGIN WITH THE CALL CENTER IS OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND YOU CAN'T UNDERSTND THE STAFF. WHEN YOU ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER ONE IS NOT AVAILABLE. IN TRYING TO GET A LOCAL NUMBER TO ********** THEY DON'T HAVE THAT INFORMATION. THE COMPANY IS A SCAM. THERE GOOD AT TAKING YOUR MONEY BUT NOT FIX THE PROBLEM.
