            Purchased town home (closed on July 25, 2022). New construction with a one year builder's warranty.Still with ongoing electrical issues with two separate circuits in the house: laundry room, and kitchen GFI. Now a new circuit (dining room GFI) is causing issues. Repeatedly tripping the circuit breakers. Occurs at least once per week. Some days, it repeatedly trips rendering us unable to use the kitchen appliances. We exercise caution, by using only standard kitchen appliances as directed in the user manual, only one plugged in at any given time. Still this occurs. Despite multiple service calls, representatives from the manufacturer visiting, multiple visits from the electrician. This issue appears to be worsening. Two weeks ago a new circuit (dining room GFI) had tripped once. Today (11/30/22) both dining room and washer outlets had repeated tripped the circuit breakers, leaving us unable to use the washer and kitchen appliances. We have a newborn baby and some critical appliances (bottle sterilizer, bottle warmer), rely on the dining room and kitchen circuit. I filed a complaint on 11/28/22 due to laundry room tripping circuit breakers. No response form the builder. I called the * Hovnanian service center today (11/30/22) as I had not heard from them. Representative stated that "there are supply chain issues" and "it will be a while for the issue to be resolved" No estimate of time frame. We cannot live in a house where we cannot reliably use the washer/dryer and the kitchen. Especially with a newborn baby.

            I was truly excited about purchasing a new home and moving into a great community until it came time to do my end of the year inspection. ****** came to do the repairs and below is the list of issues:When turning on the shower head, half the water poured from the faucet. Instead of fixing the issue, ********************* around the faucet. There was a floor crack. ****** fixed of what was visible, but left the other under the bed unfixed. He was really sneaky about it too, since he didnt tell me about it.The materials and/or workmanship during the repairs were poor quality and need to be redone. Everytime I tried to raise my concern, I was talked over and ignored by both ****** was rude and his supervisor ****. Recently I had water dripping from the vent in the upstairs bathroom. ****** diagnosed the issue over the phone telling me its condensation until I reminded him of the recent heavy rain. I brought all the issues up to *********************** supervisor with no results. Its truly unfortunate that all these soured the experience of purchasing a home from ****.

            This home closed in October 2022. ** Hovnanian recently completed the year-end review in October 2023, and has additionally responded to homeowner concerns raised subsequent to that review.As a courtesy, ** Hovnanian did provide additional settlement touch *** at the home after the applicable warranty coverage had expired. At this time ** Hovnanian is not aware of any issues at the home requiring repair per the applicable warranty. To the extent that this homeowner continues to believe that there are items in the home covered under the applicable warranty, the homeowner should contact the ** Hovnanian ************ and a ***************** Manager will respond to any additional items called in.
