    Ordered 4 pairs of glasses from this Optical Academy in *******, ** ; 2 pair distance glasses (same frames, same script, same everything) & 2 pair of the same reading glasses. When I picked them up, (that's another story...they told me they were ready, when they weren't ready....told me they would call me back numerous times, they never called back. I always had to make the calls. Finally, they informed me they would be ready on a Friday. They were not. Went to pick up on the following Saturday. They were still not quite ready. After spending an hour or so waiting in the store, they were finally ready (miracle). The person waiting on me brought out 1 pair. I asked where the other 3 were. She went to investigate. After ***** minutes, person waiting on me brought out the 2 pair of the distance glasses (did not know that glasses are not made of glass but plastic). With some miner adjustments, they were AOK. Finally, the last pair of the readers came out the "glass" was about a 1/4" thick. I thought they looked ridiculous & said so. They looked nothing like the 1st pair they had just given me. Asked why they weren't the same as the 1st pair, & was told the 1st pair were polymer and these were plastic. Was told to get the exact pair as the pair I had just rec'd & was holding in my hand, I would have to pay an additional $60. I asked why I wasn't advised by **********, who took the order, there were differences as to the composition or makeup of the "glass". She DID NOT inform me about poly/plastic options...it was never mentioned. I refused to take the 4th pair and requested they credit me $83 & left. They did not. I again tried to get a credit over the ************* again tried to up sell me. The add'l $60 then became additional $30. I refused. I never took possession of the 4th pair of glasses. I was charged & paid for all 4 pairs but only took possession of 3. This IS NOT a reputable business IMHO.
