In January I notified Fox that I needed to be away for a few months. I told them that my 94 yr old mother ( who lives with me in ** and gets in-home PT and OT through ********) was going to be in ********** from the end of March to the 1st week of June. I asked if they could continue to give my mother services for all of April and May. I was assured by client services that they could do that. Now it's May 7 and a PT has been a no-show. Unacceptable- since I have made several calls and was assured she would be evaluated in early to Mid- April. They could have informed me that the were short staffed months ago. There are 6 ***** offices in the *************************************** Not a good way to do business.Business Response

Fox Rehabilitation Services started billing me for my parent rehabilitation. I am not my parent guardian, I have no financial responsibility for them at all. I have no power of attorney to make decisions about anything for them. I am listed as an emergency contact only. I called them up on 4/4/2024 and they told me I am the responsible party of which is not true. I told them that they pay their own bill and are perfectly capable to do so as they have in the past. They said they only had my billing information on file. I said not true because they have been billing them in the post and how is it possible that they are currently going to their apartment to perform services. The service person on the phone said, oh is their address .......... I said yes and take mine out of your records and leave me in as a contact for emergencies. I have since got another bill. not only is this illegal's, it boarders on senior abuse. my parents were very upset when I told them about this because it is another example of the vendor corruption that they have experienced since needing assisted care. They are proud to be able to still handle their own financial care and find this as a slap in the face. My father is a Korean War era Veteran.Business Response

I have gotten numerous phone calls from this company, claiming that they are calling about "therapy." They are using my name when they call, but they have absolutely no reason to be calling me, and it is obviously a scam. They have called both my home phone and my cell phone. I answered a call in the car, not realizing who it was, and the first thing they did is ask for my name. They called me, and they have been using my name in the messages they have left. The messages have gotten more specific, the last time giving me a a prompt to "press 5."Business Response

*** tried to sell services to my mother in law. I told them we were not interested. Someone called again 2 days later. I could not understand most of what he said. He told me that if we did not agree to services we would be charged. I told him that we were taking my MIL to a local center and he said "good luck with that she wont get better without us" It left a sour taste in my mouth.Initial Complaint

At the end of February, my husband *************************** was contacted by ******************* from *** Rehabilitation Services, and said he wanted to talk to us about possibly using Fox's in-home therapy services. We agreed he could come to the house and talk to us, which he did on March 2, 2023. He gave us a real hard sell about using Fox, which made us suspicious. He told us Fox was referred by our primary care physician. My husband's continuing recovery of mobility post-surgery seemed to warrant out-patient, more intensive therapy than *** was going to provide. We told ************ that we would think about it, and refused his offer to do an evaluation right then, and refused his offer to check out our house for safety issues. He left, not having provided us with any services beyond the hard sell. He texted me on March 7, asking about what we had decided, at which point I told him we had already signed up for out-patient therapy. He never responded, but we have now received a bill for $62.31 for "Services: OT" for that visit. No service was performed, and when we checked with our primary care physician, it turns out *** sent her a request for referral, which she signed because she thought we were asking for it. So this is a completely deceptive practice from start to finish, *** contacted our physician under false pretenses, visited us under false pretenses, and then submitted to ******** for a service not performed, for which they have already received a payment of $105.17 from ********. I have also paid them, because I am sure they would do something to my credit rating if I did not pay them, even though this is, I think, a fraudulent practice, and moreover one they seem to be practiced at. In closing, I am my husband's caregiver, and I have his medical and springing power of attorney. He is, as i wrote, recovering, but certain actions are still difficult for him, so I handle all the business and ***************.Initial Complaint

Fox Rehab was recommended by my dad's doctor to give at home physical therapy to him.Someone from Fox called to set it up and when I asked for more information from the people who would be doing the physical therapy since they are based in ********** and obviously someone wouldn't be coming from there to *******, and that I needed the location and phone number of who was in charge of sending an at home Physical Therapist. The Fox Rehab person who called, said he didn't have that information to give me. So I called Fox Rehab on another day at ************ and received the same answer.Very frustrating and seemed awfully shady to me. I totally didn't understand why they didn't give me the info that I needed.Initial Complaint
