1 starIn June 2025 I signed up for the American Water Resources. Along with the water and sewer line protection I also signed up for the electronics protections. HUGE MISTAKE!. About a month after I signed up for this electronics protection I decided to call in and increase my coverage from $5K to 10K. All was well... a little over a month later so we are now in Sept 2025 I called to file a claim on my electronics protection which is done through CPS. I called *** and was advised I did not have an open policy with them. So I called *** back they advised that *** made a mistake, and they show my policy was open an active. I called CPS back and was still told no ACTIVE policy and that they cannot help me. AWR then escalated the issue which took almost 2 weeks to resolve. The issue was that AWR or CPS cancelled my policy even though I was still paying for it. No one knows who is at fault or what to do the 2 companies do not talk to each other. AWS refunded my money and sent me on my way with my broken phone. *** cannot help me even if I wait the *************************************** since I already filed the claim now it is pre-existing. *** said they waived the 30 days, but *** said they have received nothing from ***. I give up. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I work in customer service and if I treated a customer like they treated me I would have been fired.Review fromTomasa V

1 starI paid for two properties that the money was taken out from bank account but ********************** claims they havent received it that I only have one property on my palmn. The property that they claim is covered I put in a claim for sewer line services. Over five companies took the claim, the first company was **************** that claimed they came out but never did. I called *** to let them know and that I wanted to cancel my enrollment. Well they convinced me to give them another chance which I did and they told me that they made arrangements with ************************ and arrangements were made for 9/19/25 between 8am-10am. On 9/18/25 at 4:25pm a company by the name of Scotts plumbing knocked on the door claiming to be sent by *** that was never arranged by me and AWR never let me know. On 9/19/25 at 8:00 amI reached out to Inpacks to see if they were still coming out and I was informed that *** gave my claim to someone else and that it was cancelled. I reached out to *** on 9/19/25 after I found out and I cancelled enrollment for that property but I am having trouble getting a refund for the other property that shows on my bank statement that it was paid but *** claims they didnt receive. *** needs to be investigated. I give this company a -0 rating and I dont recommend it to anyone.

1 starI have called twelve times within 4 days for A/C repair and was told each time I would receive a call back within 2 - 4 hours. NEVER HAPPENED. The call center is in another country, so very difficult to communicate - all they do is read a script, they are not there to help. Spoke with a nice lady today and she seem to really work on the problem and said she would call me back in 2 hours to make sure dispatch had called me with an appointment. Well she never called back.I finally called a private contractor because it is very hard to tolerate 88 - 89 degrees inside my house!!! I will be requesting a cancellation of my warranty.What a waste of money - had them for 3 years and paid over $600 to them.Review fromLinda R

1 starI signed up for a waterline insurance program through American water resources that is affiliated with Missouri American water. I was quoted $1.99 per month for a year they have charged me $6.99 per month instead. When I called to complain, they refuse to refund the difference, and said I could not sign up for $1.99. They then proceeded to try to sell me another plan. Bait and switch, dishonest business!!! ******* was the employee that promised 1.99.American Water Resources, LLC

1 starI have had this warranty for years and never had a claim until August 8 2025 I had a valve in my basement spraying water and contacted American water resources. I paid my ******************************************* The contractor could not arrive for 3 days so I called AWR again. They had another contractor call me they couldn't come for 4 days. I called a 3rd time to be told that they have no other contractors in the area. I then contacted the second contractor and told him to come that Tuesday. In the meantime, I put a temporary repair cutting the valve out and putting on a SharkBite to attempt to stop the water from leaking. This worked as a temporary repair. When the contractor arrived on Tuesday he told me my claim would not be covered because the pipe is currently not leaking. I contact Pennsylvania American water resources and they told me because the pipe was not currently leaking it would not be covered. However, they were unable to provide within a reasonable time a contractor to complete the work. They refuse to repair my line the way that it was prior to the leak. The customer service in this company is less than poor. I would never recommend this company to anyone looking for a warranty.American Water Resources, LLC

5 starsI had a waterline leak on my property and all it took was one call to American Water Resources and they dispatched a plumber immediately to locate and repair the leak. If I hadn't had their insurance coverage, I would probably be out of pocket for thousands of dollars.American Water Resources, LLC
