    We hired Steve Mastrian and paid him close to $5000 to repair the porch of our "new" historic home. The work on the porch has continued to separate and deteriorate since the install. Some materials that were used for construction are not suited for outdoor use, as was previously pointed out after construction, and has begun to flake and expand with moisture, which attracted an insect infestation, which started on the step area and trim that was newly installed and then carried up the front of the house. He damaged historic detailing, used a nail gun, the list can go on...We have repeatedly asked for the work to be done properly. At one point, his large son was yelling at me on my porch due to a review my husband left online. The work ended about a year ago, but he has come back to make "repairs" to his work that were not completed .We have been told by another ********* that he would have to remove all of the work and start over, costing even more to fix the additional things Steve destroyed, like perfectly preserved historical woodwork. He knew the responsibility of the job and expressed confidence he could deliver. I appreciate any help you can give and thank you in advance.
