I purchased a floor model "NEW" speed queen ******* It was delivered and it leaked immediately while doing the first load of wash. I called JR- ******* at Audobon where I purchased it. He told me to call speed queen for a repair or he can come get it next week but I'd need to pay full price for a new one. I was furious that he pushed it back on me to get it repaired through the warranty. So I hung up and called speed queen to find out that this serial number was registered 2/2023 and returned & repaired 6/2023. Wow so I purchased a used & broken washer for the price of a new one. If this didn't leak they would of gotten away with selling me a used washer, which was already sold and warranty was almost a year old. I attempted to reach the owner, but he was not available. I spoke to ********- ******* of maple shade store. Gave him the whole story. His response was ** didn't know the back ********** was sold "AS IS''. No ******** that was not the case. If JR didn't know the back story it shouldn't have me sold to me. And I didn't purchase a used as is, I purchased a "new out of box" according to **. When the delivery guys came I took picture of the back of washer and you can certainly tell it was used and repaired. You can see where they took the back off & some plastic pieces were broken in that process.By the way ******** is the owner's son, He didn't disclose this to me. Also, The owner hasn't called me back.
