    I dropped my truck off for routine repairs. During which time my truck was damaged. I was not notified of the damage. I noticed the damage to my roof two weeks after, I notified the shop of the damage. **** *****, the owner initially took it seriously and wanted to investigate the damage. I returned on my appointment day with dissatisfactory encounter. **** was very condescending towards me and was dismissive about my claim. He said that it couldnt have happened and it was my ego. He also compared my claim to the Salem witch ****, that I was look for something nonexistent. I will be sending him a demand letter stating everything that has transpired along with several quotes and pictures from a week before arriving to his shop and the damage to the roof after leaving his shop. Im not looking for anything except accountability and compensation for repairs.

    MS. ****** ******** BROUGHT HER VEHICLE TO TILTON AUTO FOR AN APPOINTMENT ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2025.  THE SHOP CAMERAS SHOW THAT MS. ********** VEHICLE WAS DROPPED OFF ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2025.  MS. ******** WAS BRINGING HER VEHICLE IN TO REPLACE FRONT PADS AND ROTORS, PERFORM REAR BRAKE CALIPER SLIDE SERVICE, DIAGNOSE THE A/C NOT BLOWING COLD AND A NH STATE INSPECTION.  THE WORK WAS PERFORMED WITH NO ISSUES.

    MS. ******** CAME TO TILTON AUTO ON 10/22/2025 AT APPROX 1:00 P.M., TO INQUIRE ABOUT A REINSPECTION.  CUSTOMER STATED THAT A WEEK AGO, SHE SAW DAMAGE ON THE ROOF OF HER ****** WHEN PUTTING GROCERIES IN THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR.  CUSTOMER STATES SHE WAS LAST AT THIS SHOP FOR WORK DONE ON 9/29/2025.  MS. ******** INDICATED THAT THERE WERE DENTS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ROOF TOP, AT THE REAR DOOR TOPS (AT AN ANGLE) AND THAT THE ONLY PLACE SHE HAD TAKEN HER VEHICLE WAS TILTON AUTO.  MS. ******** STATED THAT SHE DID NOT CONTACT THIS BUSINESS AT THAT TIME OF SEEING THE ****** AS SHE HAD TO COME IN FOR HER REINSPECTION ANYWAY.  MS. ******** STATED THAT SHE HAD A QUOTE FROM A BODYSHOP FOR THE REPAIR BEFORE RETURNING TO TILTON AUTO.  **** AND I OPENED EACH OF THE *** DOORS TO SHOW MS. ******** THE HEIGHT AND WIDTH OF EACH LIFT INCLUDING THE ALIGNMENT RACK.  THERE IS NO POSSIBLE POINT ON ANY LIFT, WHATSOEVER, WHERE THE VEHICLE COULD BE DAMAGED THAT THE CUSTOMER IS DESCRIBING OR ANY OTHER DAMAGE OF SAID VEHICLE.  THE DAMAGE ON THE ROOF OF THE VEHICLE IS *****, INDICATIVE OF THE DAMAGE BEING DONE TO THE VEHICLE LONGER THAN 3 WEEKS AGO.   THE CUSTOMER AGAIN, BY RECOMMENDATION OF ****, MADE AN APPT FOR 10/31 AT 11:00 AM TO COME IN AND HAVE HER ****** PUT ON EACH LIFT SO THAT SHE CAN SEE IF THERE WAS ANY PLACE THAT HER VEHICLE WOULD HAVE MADE CONTACT WITH ANY LIFT.  THE CONCLUSION WAS THAT THERE WAS NO WAY, IN ANY SCENARIO, IN WHICH THIS DAMAGE COULD HAVE COME FROM ANY SERVICE OR ANY OTHER SITUATION AT OUR SHOP.  THERE ARE CAMERAS IN EACH *** AND WE SHOWED MS. ******** WHILE SHE WAS HERE FOR MAYBE AN HOUR AND A HALF TO 2 HOURS WHILE INVESTIGATING THIS ON HER OWN, ON 2 SEPARATE OCCASIONS, THAT HER CLAIM WAS COMPLETELY WITHOUT MERIT.  THE DAMAGE DID NOT AND COULD NOT HAVE OCCURED AT TILTON AUTO.  FOOTAGE FROM THE DATES AND TIMES MS. ********************* style="font-size: 0.875rem;">VEHICLE AT TILTON AUTO WAS PROVIDED TO SAID CUSTOMER.  (VIDEO SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE DOES NOT LIE).  THIS COMPLAINT HAS LEFT THE SHOP IN TURMOIL AND THIS PUBLIC DISPLAY AND DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER COULD HARM A 5 STAR BUSINESS.  BECAUSE OF THAT, I AM FORCED TO FILE A DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER AND SLANDER LAWSUIT AGAINSTY MS. ******** IMMEDIATELY.

    I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: This is not solely about damages that may have occurred on the lift, as per the demand letter stated, it is damages that occurred in Tilton Autos care. This is a complaint, not slander against the company. This will be escalated as stated in my letter.

    I WANT TO MAKE THIS SHORT AND SIMPLE AS THIS IS NOT A LEGAL PLATFORM AND IS BUILT ON A COMPLAINT WITH NO MERIT.  THIS CUSTOMER BROUGHT HER VEHICLE INTO ********************.  WORK ON MS. ********** VEHICLE WAS PERFORMED WITHOUT ISSUE AND THE VEHICLE LEFT.  MS. ******** RETURNED TO TILTON AUTO STATING THAT THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE TOP OF HER VEHICLE THAT SHE HAD NEVER SEEN BEFORE.  THIS CUSTOMER HAD LEFT THE PREMISES FOR THE BETTER PART OF A MONTH AND DID NOT NOTICE THE DAMAGE UNTIL SHE STATED SHE WAS PUTTING SOMETHING IN HER VEHICLE.  DAMAGE TO THIS VEHICLE COULD HAVE HAPPENED AT ANY TIME IN THE LAST 10 YEARS OF THIS VEHICLE'S LIFE AND IT APPEARS THAT IS AN OLD FRACTURE SEEING HOW ***** IT IS.  WE AS A TEAM AT TILTON AUTO, OPEN OUR DOORS AND ALLOWED MS. ******** TO PROCEED IN ANY MANNER THAT SHE DEEMED NECESSARY TO PROVE THAT THE DAMAGE COULD HAVE HAPPENED IN THIS SHOP.  ON TWO DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, NOT ONLY DID WE ALLOW THE CUSTOMER INSIDE THE BUILDING TO LOOK AROUND, SIZE IT UP, MEASURE AND ANYTHING ELSE SHE FELT SHE NEEDED TO DO (TAKE PICTURES, ETC.) WE ALSO ALLOWED THE CUSTOMER TO BRING HER VEHICLE IN THE BUILDING TO BE PUT ON ANY AND ALL LIFTS TO SHOW THAT THIS CLAIM WAS WITHOUT MERIT AND 100% IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE HAPPENED AT THIS FACILITY.  BOTH TIMES, MS. ******** COULD NOT IN ANY WAY SHOW HOW THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED AT THIS SHOP.  MS. ******** EXPRESSED CONCERN THAT SHE FELT THAT THE TOP OF THE CAR LIFT COULD HAVE MADE CONTACT WITH THE ROOF OF HER VEHICLE.  YET, THAT WAS WITHOUT MERIT.  MS. ******** ALSO AGREED THAT SHE COULD SEE CLEARLY WITH HER OWN EYES THAT THE DAMAGE ON THE ROOF OF HER VEHICLE COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED ON THESE LIFTS.  TILTON AUTO STANDS BEHIND THE **** THAT THERE IS NO KNOWN WAY THAT THIS DAMAGE HAPPENED AT THIS FACILITY.  MS. ******** ATTESTS TO THAT **** THAT THERE WAS NO CLEAR CUT, KNOWN WAY THAT THIS DAMAGE COULD HAVE HAPPENED AT TILTON AUTO.  MS. ********** COMPLAINT DOES NOT STATE HOW THE DAMAGE HAPPENED, WHEN THE DAMAGE HAPPENED OR IF THE DAMAGE REALLY EVEN HAPPENED HERE.  MS. ******** MERELY STATED THAT SHE DID NOT KNOW WHERE OR HOW THE DAMAGE HAPPENED BUT TILTON AUTO IS THE ONLY PLACE WHERE IT COULD HAVE HAPPENED AT.  MS. ********** COMPLAINT SWITCHED FROM THE DAMAGE ON HER VEHICLE TO FEELING INSULTED ABOUT HER COMPLAINT BEING COMPARED TO THE SALEM WITCH TRIALS.  IT IS VERY UNFORTUNATE THAT A CUSTOMER THAT ISSUES AN UNJUSTIFIED COMPLAINT AGAINST A BUSINESS FEELS TAKEN ABACK BY AN UNJUST COMPLAINT BEING COMPARED TO A SALEM WITCH TRIAL.  SEEING THAT THE **** IS KNOWN FOR BEING ASSOCIATED WITH UNSUBSTANTIATED ACCUSATIONS THAT COULD CAUSE HARM TO OTHERS BASED ON IRRATIONAL CONCLUSIONS.  THE CUSTOMER DID NOT HAVE A CLUE THAT THERE WERE CAMERAS ALL OVER THE SHOP AND TILTON AUTO INFORMED MS. ******** THAT THERE ARE.  TILTON AUTO SHOWED MS. ******** THE FOOTAGE THAT THERE WAS OF HER VEHICLE DURING THE TIME THAT IT WAS ON THE PREMISES.  TILTON AUTO SHOWED MS. ******** THE FOOTAGE OF HER VEHICLE ON THE CAR LIFT DURING TIME OF THE REPAIRS.  AGAIN, THERE IS NO WAY, NO HOW, IN ANY MANNER, KNOWN TO MAN THAT MS. ********** VEHICLE DAMAGE COULD HAVE OCCURED AT TILTON AUTO.  MS. ******** HAS SUBMITTED A COMPLAINT WITH NO PROOF, NO BASIS OR EVIDENCE OTHER THAN HER BELIEF THAT THE DAMAGE ON THE TOP OF HER VEHICLE HAPPENED HERE AND COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED ANYWHERE ELSE.  IT IS 100% CLEAR ON CAMERA THAT, AT NO TIME, DID THIS DAMAGE OCCUR HERE.  THE SIMPLE TRUTH BEHIND THIS ENTIRE COMPLAINT IS THAT MS. ******** PICKED SOMEONE AND SHE DEEMED THEM RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS DAMAGE.  AGAIN, WE STILL WELCOME MS. ******** INTO THE SHOP TO BRING ANYONE TO PULL THIS VEHICLE INTO THIS BUILDING TO TRY TO RECREATE THIS DAMAGE.  IT DID NOT HAPPEN HERE.   REFER TO THE CUSTOMER'S COMPLAINT UNDER "INITIAL ISSUE AND SHOP'S UNSATIS****ORY RESPONSE", PARAGRAPH 2, MS. ******** STATES SHE DOES NOT KNOW HOW THIS WAS CAUSED, WHERE IT WAS CAUSED OR WHEN IT WAS CAUSED.

    I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: I have stated in my letter that damages did occur at this establishment. Originally it was thought to be from the lift. This still doesnt explain the type of damage on the roof. I requested video to see if there was damage prior to arrival, this was neither confirmed or denied. I have provided a timeline including no damage prior to going to this garage and having damage after leaving. This is not a matter of accusation. Accidents happen, Mr ***** was not the individual who worked on my vehicle. The video provided with my tuck on the lift, you are unable to see the entirety of the roof. Pictures with dates have been provided with quotes. It is still my belief that something happened during the dates provided in my letter. I have escalated this complaint as noted in my letter and noted in my previous previous response.
