Having used DMS memory on several Apple Mac Pro (no, NOT MacBook Pros...Mac Pros!) for over 13 years, we've experienced memory failures far greater than Apple memory and a competitors' memory. For instance, the current memory failure we're experiencing is for one of our 2013 Mac Pros. This will make the 3rd (two within 2 months of each other) DMS memory module failure in less than 8 months, again, on one machine. When submitting the previous faulty memory for a warranty exchange, from the same 2013 Mac Pro, the entire communication process with DMS felt like an interrogation, even having submitted detailed information and the original invoice. While 5+ RAM module failures with 4 machines (the number of Mac Pros with DMS memory) over several years may not seem drastic, the downtime, work interruption and so forth (workflow interruptions, thorough testing/troubleshooting, removing/replacing RAM, submitting warranty claims and more), are costly both in productivity and revenue. Drastic nonetheless when compared to the aforementioned Apple and competitor's RAM reliability and functionality. Unfortunately, we cannot honestly recommend DMS RAM for Apple desktops for businesses. While Apple personal computer ("PC") users may not notice the loss of productivity, the aforementioned productivity interruptions can result (and have for us) costly work interruptions.
