    Went in for a phone upgrade. Didn't want to make the line at the REAL Verizon store, so went into Wireless Zone, which is supposed to be a service partner to the store. NOT AT ALL. These people are in no way representative of the service I've received from Verizon for 15 years. Waited about a half hour and when it was finally my time, I was received by C***, the manager. What an awful experience. Dismissive from the get go and was trying to help 3 people at the same time. I told him what phone I wanted and he went back and grabbed it. Then he came back with a bunch of other stuff talking about he's "setting me up". He had a case which I said I didn't want. He said "it's buy 3 get 2, so it's free. He kept saying this about all the other items so essentially he made it sound like everything was part of the offer. Never took anything off the table. Offered me some liquid glass stuff that doesn't come off of the phone once installed, and I said I didn't want it. He said again, that it's free with the buy 3 get 2. Then he went ahead and put the case on my phone. Long story short, I got home and realized that C*** never asked me what version of the phone I wanted. I needed the 256gb version and got the 128gb version. Also, the extras that were supposedly mostly free added $120 dollars to my final bill. I went back to return the phone a few hours later, given that it was the wrong version of what I wanted and most of the extra stuff he gave me was not only non-refundable, but overpriced. The case that CRUZ himself installed on my phone was also non-refundable, and when I said that I never installed it, he did, he said "You never stopped me". Add that to the fact that because it was a "bundle", whatever is non-refundable you end up paying full price on. So the $120 extra dollars that C*** added to my bill ended up being $75 back in my pocket after 4 hours.
    I am a reasonable person and I work in sales myself. I expect to be upsold to. In fact, I welcome it because sometimes it feels good to get something you didn't know you needed or wanted. This is what good salespeople do. However, I expect to be taken care of, not taken advantage of and get sold unreturnable crap just because I'm distracted or being friendly.
    I would highly warn everyone to not do business with these third party partners. I would ESPECIALLY recommend to stay away from Wireless Zone at the Rockingham Mall in NH, and I would ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY forewarn you to NOT do business with C***, who seems to be running this thing like his personal used-car-lemon-selling dealership hustle. This man is a crook, and in no way representative of Verizon's customer service policy.
