None of the statements that *************************** made are true Affordable Auto that they signed me up with never follow through on anything they promised to do. I waited and waited for them to complete all paperwork. I did complete all my paperwork in a timely manner. They seem like they didnt know what they were doing when it took almost 4 weeks to complete their side of the paperwork then they asked for $1000 and an additional $400 to complete getting my license. I asked him a simple question. Why am I getting charged by $400 when I have not even started as far as the deposit I sent him a check for $1000. They told me that they did not want to check to go ahead and cancel the check and so I did and was going to wire money to him again when I asked them why I was getting charged $400 for my monthly fee when it took him a month to get my paperwork in order they quit answering the phone so to my belief this company is a big scam They con you into thinking you are getting a dealers license when in reality theyre just there to take your moneyInitial Complaint

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: After being placed with the Co-op Dealership, I encountered significant difficulties in establishing communication with the dealership. Despite multiple attempts to get in touch, the dealer was unresponsive, which made it extremely challenging for me to proceed with the necessary steps. Given the lack of cooperation and the unresponsiveness of the dealership, I became concerned about the viability of this arrangement and its potential impact on my goals.
As a result, I decided to cancel my membership. I believe that effective communication is essential for the success of any partnership, and in this case, the lack of it led me to conclude that continuing would not be in my best interest.
I appreciate your understanding and hope this explanation provides clarity regarding my decision. I would also like to reiterate my request for a refund, as previously communicated.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
*******************************Business Response

We monitor and RECORD all phone calls, email and text messages between the member and the Co-op Dealership.
Shortly after we placed you with the Co-op Dealership, you sent an email that you did not want to proceed because you were "advised" by legal counsel not to do so. You refused to sign the dealership agreements and simply asked for a full refund. You were advised by phone, and in writing before we placed you with the dealership that there would be further agreements to sign with the dealership. We have proof via email, text and phone calls that the dealer manager reached out to you numerous times, yet you failed to respond to him. Again, you need to follow our clearly stated Refund Policy (*******************************************) in order to receive a refund. ********* & good luck...Initial Complaint

******************** applied to our auction access, used car co-op dealership program on April 19th, 2024 and we placed him with one of our Co-op Dealerships shortly thereafter. ******************** then refused to move forward with the dealership.

DealersLicense.net promise customers who conduct themselves in a professional manner and do not cause issues will receive their deposit back in full when terminating the relationship, however, this could not be further from the truth as DealersLicense.Net enabled *** **** ****** to steal $2000.00 from me and several other people.
I terminated my relationship in DEC/2022, followed all the rules, never caused a single issue and was promised the return of my deposit by (**** ******/*** **** ******) at the time of termination.
Around the time when the deposit was supposed to be returned, I got an email from dealerslicense.net stating **** ******/*** **** ****** were stealing peoples deposits and if I choose to continue to do business with them, it would be at my own risk.
I informed DealersLicense.net that I had already terminated my relationship with **** ******/*** **** ******, and I asked if DealersLicense.net was going to make this right, since it was DealersLicense.net who promises “REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT” in their contract and their answer was “We called you to be nice, we didn’t have to say anything – but lets give it time. Please copy us on all future communication between you and **** ******/*** **** ******”.
I sent a total of 2 emails to **** ******/*** **** ****** before ending communication and sent a follow-up email to dealerslicense.net, letting them know that I not only fault **** ******/*** **** ******, but I also fault DealersLicense.net because I would not have been scammed by **** ******/*** **** ****** if DealersLicense.net had not promoted him as a reputable vendor.
I also told them that I had spoken with my bank's fraud department and we will be moving forward with filing claims against all parties involved. DealersLicense replied stating that “they were going to help but not anymore, good luck”
Following DealersLicense.nets email, I choose to end communication and will be moving forward with additional actions.

In response to Mr. *****'s allegations, yes we terminated our relationship with one of our Co-op Dealership managers who was not returning member's security deposits. We notified a small number of potentially affected members and have helped most of them to retrieve their security deposits.
Mr. ***** refused to follow our directions and cooperate with our team to help retrieve his security deposit, instead choosing to demand that we return his security deposit that he paid directly to the dealership manager. Mr. ***** also decided to stop communicating with our team and has threatened all kinds to retaliatory actions against our company.
While the situation with the past dealership manager was unfortunate and troublesome, we did help most of the past members to get their security deposits back. We also terminated our relationship with that particular manager whom was with our company for close to 10 years.
DealerLicense.net has been providing ethical and professional co-op dealership services since 2007 and the owner has been doing the same since 1990. We have had over 10,000 members and been involved with over 200 Co-op Dealerships. We conduct ourselves with the highest level of honesty, integrity and professionalism. We attempted to work with Mr. ***** to resolve his issue with the dealership manager, but Mr. ***** refused to cooperate and instead chose to place unreasonable demands and make numerous threats against us.
We have provided Mr. ***** with all the necessary information to in order for him to retrieve his security deposit, however we will not be lending him and further help and/or support as we did with the other members.
Respectfully,
Timothy P*****

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because
the merchants (DealerLicense.net) is lying. I followed every single instruction
the provided and my money has yet to be returned. DealersLicense.I contacted
**** ****** and copied Timothy on the email, and I emailed the DMV contact they
provided. Is dealerslicense.net able to provide the instructions I did not
follow or is this simply a response to try and save grace after assisting a
known criminal to steal money from me and other members of
DealerLicense.netAlso, by your own admission,
you have customers who have gone a year without getting there money back TO DATE, the
email where you admit this is attached to my complai9nt. As it stands, you have
offered 0 protection, and you have failed to honor the obligations within your
own contract, and YOU HAVE SCAMMED ME AND OTHERS OUT OF 2000.00.
Your answer is rejected
because it is untrue. By your own admission, you stated that you were not
responsible for your vendors stealing my money. despite the mention of 100%
refundable deposits listed in the contract we both signed... As it
stands, DealersLicense is just as guilty as **** ****** for scamming me out of
my money...Sincerely,
****** *****
