    purchased a 2022 Kia EV6 brand new last summer. Since then it has been in the shop twice, and I want to preface that it has not been any accidents, nothing is hit it, I have not even poked it the wrong way. The air conditioning and heater has not worked since summer of last year, I took it in once, they had the car for a day and sent me away, saying it was fine. It was still malfunctioning up until I took it in again last month. When I took it in the second time, this time to a different dealership, they told me, and I quote, “ this car is unsafe to drive, and you should not have been driving at the past six months. We don’t understand why they let you drive away.” I have had my girlfriends kids in this car, he kids’ friends. My friends. My family. For 8 months. It is now been in the shop over three weeks, the dealer has not contacted me so I contacted Kia directly and I’ve been working with an escalation officer. Twice he was suppose to call me to give me update, the last one yesterday and still nothing. Even if they give me my car back next week, which I doubt will happen, the fact that I was driving around in an unsafe car after leaving the first dealer makes me worry that they know what they’re talking about and makes me worry that they know how to repair their own vehicles. At this point, I just want a full refund on the car (and all payments/deposits I have made) and I want move along to another brand. I have also filed with the local lemon car from the state.

    I should have know from my first dealings with the car dealership. Dishonesty from the start. I purchased a Kia Sportage and was told by my sales rep that there was a remote start. I purchased the car knowing that it had it. 2 months later I called the dealership asking how to use the remote. I was told there wasn't a remote start but they would install one for 50% off. I argued with the manager stating i was told by the rep there was one. He stated that I signed something that said "no promises were made" I stated that he was not there for the original conversation and how would he know what was said?" He stated "sorry. but no promises were made and you signed something stating that!" I schedule my new appointment to have the new remote start put in and it took hours longer than expected. I went to the dealership and asked what was going on. The service department said that they needed to REMOVE the original remote start to install the new remote start. They were now privy to my conversation with the manager and did what was scheduled for them to do. 4 years later............. Deceptive practices!!!! I purchased a warranty for my vehicle that would help with brakes, tires and oil changes for 10 years. Today, 07/25/23, I called to schedule maintenance and found out that my warranty is not good. I was told that I would need to go after Dan O***** Kia to get reimbursed for my oil change, tires and brakes that are needed. DO NOT go to DAN O***** to purchase a car!!!!!! I am disgusted with what they do and how they treat customers. No call was made to me letting me know that Dan O***** was selling the dealership and that my warranty with them is null and void!
