    I brought my Brother PE800 embroidery machine in for service, everything was clearly labeled with my name, a power cord, a small hoop and the machine. I labeled each item using my label maker and each item said "PE800 **** ****** on white plastic label tape. When we finally after several month got notified it was repaired and was ready for pick up on 5-19-22 my husband got it. Once it was home I noticed that the cord was not my cord it was old, dirty and did not fit my machine. It was clear that I was given the wrong cord. I left a voice mail the next day 5/20/22 stating that I was given the wrong cord and I would like my cord to be returned to me. That afternoon I was driving and a call came in from the shop and I thought she said my cord was found and I said my husband will come pick it up and bring back the cord that they had given me in error. Much to my shock and dismay later that day I saw an email from the shop with a charge for a new cord, billing me $14.95. Needless to say I am outraged that first my cord was lost, them I was provided some old cord not even for my machine type and then they had the audacity to charge me for a new cord. This is not the first time this has happened. Several years ago I brought in my back up sewing machine a Brother 95000PRW and they lost the clearly labeled cord I sent in with it. They gave me back a cord then too clearly not mine and it fits poorly in my machine so now I have to tape it to the machine otherwise it falls out. I want MY money refunded AND I want my original cord back and if they are so incompetent they cannot find it then I want a NEW replacement cord for free for my Brother PE800.
