    They sold me a 4 carat cushion diamond ring five years ago for over $40,000. It was not certified, so I completely relied on what they told me as far as the value for the diamond. They even went so far as to issue an appraisal for the diamond at $47,500 . I trusted them. I am at a point now where I need to sell or trade the diamond. Not only will they not take it back, but I have had two other jewelers look at it and tell me that Barmakian took me for a ride when I purchased it. They say it is not worth more than $15,000. Long’s jewelers won’t even consider taking it in. They knew what they were doing when they sold it to me and put on the receipt final sale. Do not trust these people!
