    Sortedbyname.com has a publicly available webpage that contains my childs name and full date of birth. My child is a minor (10 years old) and my husband and I did not provide parental permission for this information to be posted publicly. I am a federal employee and work in law enforcement. This information being made public could lead to serious harm to my family. I requested that the website remove the information and someone named ***, who responded to my written request, refused to remove the information.

    I am filing this complaint because the website SortedByName.com has published my full legal name (****** D. *****) without mu consent and falsely connected it to a donation solicitation. This creates the impression that I am publicly asking for money, which is completely false and damaging to my personal and professional reputation.I did not authorize this website to display my name, nor to associate me with any fundraising efforts. This is a misuse of my identity and deceptive to users who visit their site.I contacted the business via and email and issued a formal cease and desist notice but have received no response. I am now requesting that the BBB step in to help ensure my name is permanently removed from their website.
