On February *******, I contacted the company advertising as A-Z Garage doors. A representative arrived same day and quoted the price and agreed to return two days later to install the garage door. They required 1/2 deposit payment to perform the work. I wrote a check for $910 to satisfy their requirement. The representative told me that they were a subcontractor and to write the check to KM Garage Doors. The check cleared on the 27th of February. They did not show up on the day of my appointment. I called several times to get status and was continually promised a return call from management. After days I received an angry call for one claiming to be the owner. He said that when they were loading the garage door for transport, they noticed it was broken and ordered another one, and that I would have to wait 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. That time has lapsed and I have continually called for status again, but now no one will answer the phone at all. I have left multiple messages and requested a refund for the entire $910 that I deposited. This company is not responding and I believe they have my phone number blocked. The phone number that I have had success in reaching anyone has been **************.

On 02/25/2025 I googled a place to fix my door which I was transferred to this 24 hrs service. They sent a technician to my house and they charged me $1500 just for the frame and I had to pay half right over at the phone call. They only accepted ***** and charged 5% on cards, which my Zelle could only do $400 . I paid them right away. The next day they came to install the frame and said I needed a new door, I asked how much and they said another $800 on top of the $1500, I advised them I couldnt afford it , so they asked what I could afford and I said $200. I paid them $1365 right at the moment. They installed and left. The door is not working, is not closing, the top lock is not connecting to the hole. I called them numerous time, left text messages , you cant leave voicemails because the number doesnt look legit. I sent them videos of proof the door is not working and they stopped responding and never sent a technician back. Their phone number is ***************** if anyone would like to try.

We called IDoor Garage Repair to come replace our garage door motor on February 3, 2025 and were grossly overcharged and then denied a fair refund. Also, the invoice said "thank you for choosing KM Garage Door!" which was not the company we thought we were doing business with, since we called IDoor Garage Repair. On Feb. 3rd, 2025, two repair technicians came out and completed the repair. When the work was done, they gave us a copy of the invoice to sign, which we signed and paid, and then instantly questioned due to the seemingly VERY high repair cost. We paid $650 per garage door spring ($1300 total for springs), and $1000 for a new garage door opener, $250 for labor, and when they asked for a tip we left a $127 tip, for a total of $2805.00.After the job was complete and they left, we checked the cost of the opener and compared prices of springs online and with other garage door repair services. We found the identical garage door opener online for a cost of $219 at *****, and the springs were $279 max per PAIR. I called other garage repair services (those who were accredited by the BBB, and served surrounding NH towns) who confirmed that they charge $750 for their most common garage door motor (we were charged $1000 for a lesser known brand), and the most expensive garage door springs they install are $250/each with 10 year warranty (not $650/each). We feel that they were deceptive and unfair for several reasons. We called "IDoor Garage ***************", and didn't realize "KM Garage Door" was doing the repair. Their prices were inflated dramatically, about 2.6x or 260% if you do the math on the springs alone. They were not transparent with their prices. We would like a refund of the cost that we were overcharged, about $1300, which has been requested, and which they denied.

We called for a repair on our garage door. They replaced the spring and two coordinating drums and charge us for labor. After the work was completed, the repair *** *** told us there would be an additional fee for using a credit card so we paid them in cash. They emailed me a receipt after *** left. A couple days after they left, our garage door was still not fixed, still doing the same thing we had called them for initially. I called *** back and he said that he would have someone contact us from the office to fix the problem. We had to harass *** to get him to come back. We have him on video for both visits from our home camera. When he left the second time, he said someone would be contacting us to service our garage door to fix the problem. They have been avoiding our calls ever since. I also was able to track down the owners name and personal cell phone number. I was able to get him to pick up his personal cell phone once, he said he was busy and to text him my issue. I explained everything in detail of what was going on and he responded that would call me right back and has been avoiding me ever since. *** has also since disconnected his phone. It has gone on almost 3 months since they have initially been to our house to repair our garage door. We have since found reviews for their company stating the exact same issues we have been going through. They scam you for your money then take off. I have requested just a repair of whats broken on our garage door instead of a full refund, but that hasnt worked either. Now we want our money back. The owner told me in the text message to him that his name was ****, but I found out his name really is **** ******.

I had my garage door repaired in July 2024. I was told there would be a discount if I paid cash, which I did. The work came with a 10 year warranty. The door developed a problem on Sunday, February 16, 2025. I left a message on the voicemail at the number on the invoice. Monday morning, I called..got a muffled answer and then got hung up on! I called back, the man who answered sounded very upset that I was calling, he said he would call me back. He did not! I called him again about an hour or 2 later and again he was rude. He finally said he would come out on what I thought he said was the same day. He did not! Then he said he would come today, Tuesday February 18th between 4 and 6 pm. He never showed up! At this point, I have called another company to do the repair and I think I deserve my money back, as this warranty is obviously not worth the paper it's printed on!!

I was conned by a technician that misrepresented the work needed, and presented fake documents. I paid a deposit, that was supposed to be refundable. I can see online that others have had the same experience and i've escalated this to the attorney general of the state. Phone calls are not being returned, and I cannot find an address for k m garage doors OR for the alleged parent company, A to Z Garage Doors.

KM Garage Door gave me a quote of $5800 to replace my two automatic garage doors. I gave them a check down payment of $1,750. They installed the doors and demanded immediate payment through ***** or Zelle. I paid them the additional $4060 via Venmo which they received a notification that there was a 21 day hold on the payment. They then demanded payment via credit card with the assurance that they would refund the ***** payment when they received it. I notified them on October 18 that the payment had been sent. They said they would send a refund check. When no check was received I contacted them again at which time they said the check had been returned to them but they would send out again with a tracking number. I did not receive the tracking number after several communications to get it and have never received the check. The phone numbers for them have now been disconnected.

On September 1 we had a garage repair that needed to be completed. The technician arrived late, and when he arrived proceeded to "scare" us in to work that needed to be done. He refused to give an estimate and said he would let us know cost as he went. By the time we realized that he was scamming us, he had our garage door torn apart and inoperable. When the work was completed, he said he would not take a check and demanded digital payment. I refused - saying I would only write a check. He finally conceded and had his "boss" call me to explain who to write the check out to. The technician left. A few days later, calls began to come in from the company and the technician claiming we had written a fake check. The check had cleared my bank (I have a certified letter from the bank to prove this). They called over and over, at all hours. They sent threatening text messages, and the technician showed up at our house while we were not home and looked all around our yard, jiggled door handles to. get in our home, and went to our neighbor demanding to know where we were. We are not satisfied with the work but are afraid to stop payment on the check or call the company to complain out of fear of further harassment. We paid them $3278.

I did contact the local authorities; unfortunately, there is not much they can do because they can't pinpoint who to serve a no trespass order. Needless to say, we are nervous. I would anticipate the business will not be willing to resolve, but you can certainly try to contact them. I will contact the *********, as well.

At this point, when you do contact them, you can tell them that the repairs they did were unacceptable as both our garage doors are not operating correctly anymore.

      Thank you.
