To say I'm outraged at the unprofessionalism is an understatement. Last wk the director decides to speak to me about my daughters general behavior at pick up time, quickly rushed barely in private. Asking me to get her assessed by a specialist. Her intention is to gain insight or tips on how to educate my child while she is in their care. Meetings like these are to be handled in a professional manner, requesting to meet on a certain date and time, inside sitting at a table, not on the front steps without supporting notes. This severely bothered me, but I decided to let it go and come up with a plan. A plan that will benefit my child's development and care while she is at this school. Today, I drop her off and since meetings are not a practice they seem to conduct, as I have never been able to discuss my child with them, it's always rushed and on their front steps, I try to explain to this school director of twenty years my thoughts and give her tips that were given to me by my friend a child psychologist. After all, this director asked me for an assessment so she could better care for my child. Here I was attempting to give her these tips. Instead, this woman takes things personally, as if this issue was about her and not my child, spews words about my child that are above her qualified degree, stating my child has cognitive issues, because all of a sudden this woman is a behavioral specialist with a phd. Slams the door at my face, telling me she won't allow me to cause a scene. I was very calm, this is called a discussion, one we are having ABOUT MY CHILD, BROUGHT ON BY HER TO BEGIN WITH, regarding a medical diagnosis and claims that need not 2 be overlooked at this time. Slams the door in my face tells me to leave, while my child is on the other side of the door in her care! So of course I open the door to get my child away from this scary, unprofessional woman who is now yelling for the cops. SHE IS NOT 2 CASH MY $255 CHECK #110. I have also called the state.
