  0 stars if I could! Where do I start? We had bought a wedding package for the pavilion and the Mariah room and was so disappointed with the service that was provided to us. The amount of money that was spent on booking this room/venue you would think that they would at least provide you with a refrigerator to store your wedding cake in. Are you trying to make it more difficult for the couples special day? I am not sure what they want you to do- go buy a refrigerator? I guess I can see if you didnt spend a lot of money- but at least it should come with the use of a refrigerator. The excuse we were given was that someone unplugged the refrigerator one time and now they dont do that.. I am sorry but that is a poor excuse for a place that hosts weddings. Also- we were told that we were all set by ****** (our wedding planner/coordinator) in which we got to the front desk to get the keys to our room and were told that we didnt have a room reserved? The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and not helpful as she said you still have to call to reserve your room even when you bought a wedding package not sure why that wasnt explained to us. We were also told that our first night was already paid for due to our deposit on the venue, in which the front desk told me it wasnt and charged my card. Not sure why we couldnt have waited until we got a response from ******** or the fact that they could look up and see that I had a credit for overpayment on my wedding and that they could have used that (in which 2 hours later was told that they could use that amount to pay for the room) even though we were told it was already covered. They lowered the price from $159 to $99, although by saying something like that you should stick to your word and not just reduce the price but not charge (I know in my profession that if a worker quotes something, we have to stick to that no matter if its wrong) Also not impressed that ****** literally was missing in action for most of it

  We are sorry to hear that your wedding experience with us didn’t meet your expectations. We genuinely value all feedback and wish we’d had the opportunity to address your concerns directly during your stay. To clarify, we do not offer standard wedding packages. Instead, each couple customizes their celebration by selecting the reception space, one of our approved caterers, a menu, bar setup, and any additional add-ons like after-parties. Guest room reservations are handled separately through our reservations team, which is why the front desk was not aware of any overpayment tied to your wedding deposit. That said, we recognized your concern and provided a $160 courtesy discount on your lake view suite. Regarding refrigeration, this policy was communicated well in advance during the detail process, and was signed for by the client. We understand that the change in your bakery’s delivery created unexpected stress, and we empathize. Our policy in place is to prevent issues like ones we have experienced in the past, where a cake was unfortunately ruined after being left overnight. Due to the logistical challenges posed by the locations of our reception rooms, to maintain security and prevent cross-access with other events and staff, we do not currently offer cold storage. However, we are actively exploring safer and more reliable solutions for the future. Our event team’s role is to manage venue logistics, setup and coordination. While we help guide the flow of the day and provide behind the scenes support, we are not full-service wedding planners. Elements like ceremony scripting and reception flow is typically managed by your officiant and DJ, as is standard at the vast majority of wedding venues. Our team is present to ensure everything stays on schedule. We truly appreciate your feedback and are committed to improving the experience for all future couples.
