  We highly recommend American Asphalt Paving! **** came out and gave the initial proposal was very thorough and answered all our questions and provided options. ****** and his crew were prompt, professional and thorough with their work. ****** went above and beyond to make sure things looked good and we were happy. My husband worked over 35 years in construction and can say with confidence, that American Asphalt Paving is the kind of company you like to see these days.

  I recently had American asphalt paving work on both of my commercial and residential properties and I couldnt be happy with the results. ****** and his crew did an outstanding job and the service manager was professional and attentive throughout the project, the quality of the work exceeded my expectation and highly recommend them for any paving needs thank you American asphalt paving for excellent service

  I just had my driveway done and am very happy with their work.*** ( the owner) told me when they would arrive and they were even a little earlier.The team all worked hard and *** stayed on top of everything. Even did some extra touches I didn't ask for. He was always asking if I was happy with the work and if there was anything else they could do. I plan on hiring them again for other projects.

  I hired American asphalt and paving to repave my driveway/parking lot. The Contractor charged me a premium price (~$38K) for a drastically substandard job. The driveway is so bad that sections will not last through the winter. I'll be lucky if the driveway last one / two years. Less than one month after being paved, I'm already requesting quotes to have the driveway repaved. The contractor threatened me with the filing a mechanical lien. In the state of New Hampshire, this process is tailored to meet the needs of the contractor. When the contractor breaches the contract the consumer is still holding the short end of the stick. I ended up paying $20,000 for a driveway and I'm already requesting quotes for repaving. This company doesn't know the meaning of quality work, completing the work to the agreed contract (paving thickness, foot print, dimensions, etc.). I was constantly being pacified and lied to by the owner and eventually the estimator (eg; standing water). They took it upon themselves to determine what was best without consulting me. Good examples include the footprint, the dimensions of the driveway and the sidewalk. These are just a few of my 17 item punchlist items, which includes significant drainage issues (3+' water drainage) directly in walking path to the main entrance to the complex and the placement of a PVC pipe placed directly under the walkway asphalt. Here you can walk on the asphalt and see the asphalt actually flexes as you walk across the surface, as well as the PVC pipe having a negative gradient. I don't trust the owner or the estimator of this company, and I directly told them using documented proof. There were little to no effort put forth by the company to fix the problems. If you are considering hiring an asphalt company, I would highly recommend that you stay away from American Asphalt and Paving. As a veteran, the greeting message discuss me.
