I ordered a splint for my 40 lb dog who broke her front leg. I received my order, but was unable to use the splint, due to the nature of her leg break.
I asked for a RMA and shipped the splint back on 8/3/23. According to the tracking they receive din on 8/7/23 - it was left with "A person". I had to call on 8/23 and the girl told me they had just gone through an inventory for 2 weeks, but she would have they process it. I also asked if they wanted the unused sheet of foam back, which they did.
One 8/24/23 I received an email from Debbie *******, senior customer service rep who stated that my refund was denied because the product was received back in bad condition. and the foam wasn't a whole sheet!!!
I only had the device on my dog for less than 15 minutes because it was heavy for her leg and not curved to accommodate her break. sent it splint back with the half of a sheet of foam which I had advised them I did use some of the foam. But the splint I received and returned was in no way damaged. I had the foam out of the splint, and it was returned in perfect condition because it wasn't used!!! This company is a rip-off.

Thank you for your review.  This issue has been researched.  As we had communicated via email, the splint and foam pads received back to us were not in a condition per our terms of service.  We are happy to receive returns and process refunds per our return policy stated on our website.  The terms and conditions may be found at the following link:  ************************************************************************************************************

In this case, the foam pad was cut with scissors and the splint was scratched and scuffed.  Pictures of these items were sent to you in response to your questions.  Any returned items need to be in a like-new, undamaged condition from a smoke-free environment.

    RIP OFF COMPANY
They offer a "refund", yet, they charge you outrageous fees if you ever try to return your wheelchair.
The pins are so tight that it's nearly impossible to push them without using a tool. It's also impossible to test out the wheelchair without strapping it to your dog and having them walk in it.
Yet, their return department will ding you 40% when you send the item back and try to claim it's because you "damaged" it just by you assembling the item and having your dog try it out, which is absolutely necessary just to try it out to see if it works.
So, in short, do not use Walkin' Pets/Handicapped Pets, because they rip off their customers. Find another company that isn't trying to make money off of returns that they'll end up just re-selling anyway.
