Stanger Pools was hired in May of 2021 to build and install pool at our home. Steve came to our home and was very persuasive that he could give us what we wanted and we would be in our pool within a month. We paid $******* up front for work to be completed. A contract was signed stated work would be finished in 120 days. Steve and workers came and dug pool and put in walls and floor. A year had passed before Steve would agree to come back and do any work, stating COVID was reason he couldn't get parts. We hired another pool company to come look at pool. Everything Stanger had done was done improperly. Walls were bowing, Pool wasn't ground properly, proper pipework was done using the wrong pipes. We arranged for Steve to bring us all of our supplies that had been paid for. He showed up to our home on June 14, 2022 with no supplies. At this point we told him we were firing him and he needed to bring us our supplies and pay us back for cement work that he would not be completing. He verbally agreed to have all equipment and money back to us within 1 week which would have been June 21st. He would not sign any documents stating he would do this but there were 5 adults there that heard this as well. It is now June 30th and we have received no money or pool equipment. There have been numerous phone calls, text messages, emails that have gone unanswered by Steve. He has blocked our numbers. We have called from other lines and when we tell him who we are he hangs up on us. At this point we are at the point where lawyers have been contacted and a lawsuit will be filed.
