BEWARE! Dealt with Scott. Was expecting an owner/operator. He is nothing more than a salesman. He’s a general contractor and hires everything out. Does not participate in any of the work. Our fault for not asking and would have made a difference for us. We could have saved on his commission and hired out ourselves. In all fairness, the home required a lot of repair, of which were repairs to seven windows. Scott’s contractor apparently said that the repairs couldn’t be made but crediting back for that was never done as that was included in the deposit for materials to get started. Another botch was that when the contractor covered an old dryer vent he replaced the piece has it going the opposite direction of the grain of the existing siding. Another was that when I pointed out that there was house paint on a vinyl window that needed to be cleaned off, Scott texted me saying it was a butterfly nest and it was left. Well, butterflies don’t nest, but hornets do which gave us concerns early on regarding the power washer that was hired but Scott reassured us he was fine. We felt if the power washer was good it should have removed all debris from the house as we didn’t want any peeling as a result of a sloppy wash to have warranty issues. There is an unresolved issue on the front of the home that Scott referred to as a dent and claimed four coats of paint were used but we still see bleed through. Also, a point on a gutter is showing metal. He claims it’s tipped. My problem is that the paint contractor couldn’t take a literal squirt of paint to cover that? One sloppy repair to a front window was redone and looks 100% better but not after a big ***** match to get it done right. Now we have to deal with paint spray all over the roof from the do over. Would add more but out of character space. House does look better but we’re going to have to hire someone to fix the bleed through on the front and paint the gutter that we already paid Scott for. No eye for detail, paint and go
