On June 10, 2025, I was called by a sales representative who saw my boat for sale on another listing website and posed as a buyer. I was then told a story about how he just sold a boat identical to mine with 5 competing buyers for more than I was even listing for. The 4 buyers who missed out were still keen to buy a boat and he had established the relationship with them. If I was willing to list on their site, he could work the deal and get my boat sold for more than I listed for.

On June 11th, I paid this company $602.94 to list my boat on their website.

After several days of no updates, I inquired as to the status of the sale with these very eager buyers. The sales manager now called me and gave me a lengthy explanation as to why things were taking longer than anticipated and chalked it up to financing. He then solicited another $2,500 from me in order to move my boat listing from their website to a 3rd party auction website where these 4 buyers could actually bid and hope to drive the price beyond what we even listed for. I was extremely skeptical having run an RV dealership myself but he always had an answer and against my better judgment, agreed to proceed.

Prior to proceeding though, the sales manager ***** A. emailed me a written guarantee on June 19, 2025, stating: "By paying the $2,500 entry fee, Water N Wheels Auctions will guarantee you no less than the reserve price of $105,900 USD on your 2023 malibu Wakesetter VTX** and a full refund clause at the bottom.

After paying the company directly, the boat was listed on this auction site where it got zero bids for the duration fo the auction before expiring on July 19, 2025. When I inquired as to why nobody was bidding of these 4 eager buyers, I was met with further silence and eventual excuses.

It became extremely evident at this point that I was deceived and there were never buyers. I attempted to resolve this amicably and directly with multiple refund requests, all met with firm resistance.

Our company firmly rejects the statements and accusations made in this complaint. The complainant was fully informed of our services and agreed to all terms and conditions prior to making any payments. He signed two separate electronic agreements, each confirming that he had read, understood, and accepted the terms of service. These documents clearly define our role as a marketing and advertising provider—not a brokerage, agent, or guaranteed sale service.

Within days of his advertisement going live, the complainant began demanding a refund because his boat had not yet sold, despite the marketing campaign having only just begun. Our team clearly explained that while our services are designed to generate buyer interest and exposure, we cannot compel a sale. We fulfilled every contractual obligation and provided the agreed-upon marketing services in full.

When reminded that his request fell outside our clearly stated and legally compliant refund policy, the complainant began issuing threats to post false and defamatory reviews unless his money was returned. This conduct met the definition of extortion and harassment. We also have reason to believe that at least one of the negative reviews was submitted under a false identity, which remains under investigation.

Despite having prevailed in chargeback disputes with his financial institution—which confirmed that the services were delivered exactly as described—we ultimately chose to refund the complainant. This decision was not an admission of fault, but a business choice made solely to disengage from an individual whose behavior was deceptive, disruptive, and inconsistent with good-faith business dealings.

Our company values integrity and transparent communication. We stand by the quality and legitimacy of the services provided and maintain that the complaint submitted to the BBB is false, misleading, and not representative of our practices. We respectfully request that the BBB consider the documented evidence supporting our position and refrain from endorsing or publishing this inaccurate account.

I represent an entity called Busy Beaver Publications, LLC ("Busy Beaver"). Busy Beaver runs an advertising publication directed to Amish communities. MW Ag Pros has been calling individuals who have placed ads to sell farm equipment in the Busy Beaver, telling them that MW Ag Pros will list and sell the farm equipment for a fee (usually $1,000-2,500), taking the money, and then doing nothing. MW Ag Pros never lists the equipment. MW Ag Pros represents itself as connected to Busy Beaver, but it is not. MW Ag Pros appears to be preying on vulnerable members of the Amish community. MW Ag Pros is inducing Busy Beaver customers to send MW Ag Pros money by representing itself as connected to the Busy Beaver, then taking the money and providing no services. This has been happening for several months.
