Within the last six months we contracted with Heartland Wood Floors to install a wood floor in our kitchen and refinish our wood floor in our family room. The installation went just fine but the stain we picked did not exactly match the finished product.This could be due to a number of reasons and although we thought more work should have be done to make a better match, the explanation we were given as to why this the case resolved the issue. The workers on site were professional in their demeanor and for the most part did a good job. They still have some finishing work to do and three weeks ago a manager promised that they would be back to complete the work. A manager did show up and discussed what was needed to finish what we had contracted them to do and told us he would be back in two days to complete the remaining work and if we didn't hear from them in two days to call the office. It has been three weeks now and no one has showed up or contacted us even after repeated emails and phone calls to the office. Better communication and follow-up is needed here.
