              We have since moved our children to a different dentist and my wife, Andrea, spoke to this office multiple times to try to correct the issue. We have health insurance and dental insurance but this office would only charge our health insurance. Since they would not run our son ********* dental work through our dental insurance we were constantly overpaying. This happened once with two of our other children but was corrected after the appointments. We were told there would be a credit to our account which could’ve been used at the Summit Dental in ******* that I go to. There ended up being a $* credit that did not cover a bill that it should have. I realize it’s also part my fault for not following up a fifth time to ensure the account was credited but my bill for $*** went to collections because I thought it was covered with the credit we should’ve received. We did not file a complaint earlier due to trying to work it out with the office.

              Summit dental has reached out to me due to my former complaint. Summit dental incorrectly sealed a crown on my tooth that led to decay. They reached out to me and informed me that the dentist that gave me improper care is no longer at their practice and instead i’m taking responsibility, I would have to go to a different state for the inadequate work performed on my crown under summit dental supervision. They made no apologies.
