Got a quote for $2500 in FEB/March for a foundation. The foundation was to be for a garage, which was quoted to cost just over 10k for ****************** to build. They started work on the foundation pretty quick. As soon as they started, Danny from Jaco reached out and said that it was going to be more concrete than he though and it was going to cost me 2000.00 more than what he quoted. Since they had already started, I was kind of stuck. They finished very quickly and I had my builder out to inspect it and the builder said it was almost 5 inches out of square and the back wall was bowed out by almost 4 inches. The builder said we would not be able to build anything on it. I reached out to Danny from Jaco and thats where things really went down hill. Over the next several months and about 3 dozen calls, I contacted a lawyer and Papillion code enforcement and threatened to sue, they finally tried to fix it. They cut and demolished the sides of the foundation all the way around. They were going to pour new sides and tie it in with rebar, but it took a couple of months, because the sub-contractor that Danny from Jaco hired, wanted more money from me to have his guys come back out and fix what they did wrong. I filed papers at the courthouse, called the DA and my lawyer, then called the sub-contractor and told him I was going to sue him too and told him I was going to file papers with Papillion, which per papillion, would limit his ability to do contractor jobs in Papillion. Something like 6 months later, the single car garage foundation was finally done. The builder said it was still just over 1/2" out of square but it was usable. The next problem was that Danny with Jaco had taken so long to complete the 1 car garage foundation that the price had risen by about $4000.00 and I could now no longer afford to have the garage build. Danny said he would coat the foundation with a commercial grade covering to sort of make up for all the problems, but it would be later in the year. Well, its 3 days from the New Year and several text messages and several unanswered phone calls later, NOTHING. When he does finally repsond, it is that they are so busy and will get to it as soon as possible. Absolutely the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I was super flexible and did not really put any limits on the job to allow him to fit it in until he didn't, hasn't and the lack of communication is just pathetic. I would not recommend them to do anything. I wouldn't let them within 50 feet of your property and would not believe a word they say.
