They have a poor way of helping people like me who need their parents to deal with the money. They keep hounding me, we live separately.

Unfortunately, there are laws that hinder us from contacting parents of adult children. I see you provided us with direct permission to contact them. I have blocked your numbers, but ask that you request one of your parents to reach out to us at 402-201-2839.

These weirdos called me this morning and like other reviews revealed no info about what the call was for. I haven’t lived in NE for years and didn’t have anything outstanding when I left so this was totally random. I’m glad the law is setup to trap collectors cause I’m not confirming any info until they do beforehand. I haven’t gotten anything in the mail and I’m not paying a random third party. Nice try legal scammers

Federl and state laws requires debt collectors to identify that we are speaking to the correct party prior to disclosing any private information during a call.

1 star is being extremely generous but I had no lower options.
Lady that called me was very rude and condescending. Lied to me about being a debt collector when directly asked. From the beginning of the recorded (on my phone) phone call I told this employee I was less than 24 hours post major surgery and highly medicated preventing me from speaking about anything that may be a legally binding conversation yet she continued digging for information, asking inappropriate questions, and kept me on the phone after I told her to stop. When she lied to me about being a debt collector I called her out on it and hung up. Scum of person and company

Julie M. did not lie about being a collection agency. When Ms.K***** first asked her if she was calling from a collection agency, we did not know if we were speaking to the correct person. The FDCPA forbids to disclose the purpose of the call until we verify, we are speaking to the correct person. This is to protect the consumer's privacy.
The only questions asked were to identify the person. In this case Julie M. asked her to confirm her street address.

I have no idea who these people are or why they keep calling me. But they are EXTREMELY rude and demanding, will not clarify why they're calling, and eventually hang up when I refuse to give out personal information.

This scam needs to be shut down.

I can see from the other reviews that mine is spot on. No concern for health factors and only about money. Debt collectors are all in the same and this one obviously ranks at the bottom of the barrel. The lady who called was very insensitive and very rude. A robot is who calls initially, which is why a voicemail is never left to even know who is calling. They call you at all times of the day multiple times. They just harass you to answer the phone. I have never received anything in the mail from them to see an itemized detail of what they are even attempting to collect. Do not attempt to contact me again until you have provided written information to me regarding why you are calling.

I keep receiving bills and have paid them online and keep getting them in the mail. I tried to call to figure it out and the lady also hung up on me when I tried to ask questions about the bill to try to pay it. It's so confusing. It feels like a total scam and they try to scare you into paying $5.00 over and over again. I tried logging into the account and it is giving me errors, so I called and the lady on the call tried to sell me something and I said I wasn't interested and she kept talking about it over and over, interrupting me and then she hung up.

I was able to locate accounts for Mr. W******* in our system. Our client charges a late fees on unpaid accounts. We receive them for collection activity one fee at a time. That is why it may appear we are collecting on the same account over and over. We have received fee in June, July, August and September.

Ask them to mail me a statement once a month and they told me No! How am I going to pay them if you don't send me a statement? Seems to me they don't care and are in business to screw people over! Like I said I will pay but need a statement once a month is it that hard!

If he wishes a monthly, notice he may request a receipt when he mails a payment, otherwise no other notices will be mailed.

Called me for a debt I had already paid and after I had sent written notice to them that I contest the debt. The woman I spoke to at Clear Together spoke to me as though I was an idiot, explained that I was confused on which debt, tried to explain who my health care providers are to me, and then kept interrupting me as I asked her to pause so I could try to look up the payment information and date to prove that this debt was settled. She called me on a Saturday morning no less, and was rude and talked down to me the entire time. I told her to go back to her client and confirm the debt was settled and it was paid prior to them ever even writing me to collect the debt. I finally had to hang up because she kept interrupting me to tell me information that was incorrect.

Lady was very rude and hung up on me because i questioned a bill. They claim i owe for a CHI visit in September of 2023 but i know i was never there and when i call CHI they have no record either. When i tried to explain this to the lady from Clear recovery she got irritated and said CHI has no clue what they are talking about. She said she was killing my account (what ever that means) and hung up on me. If i owe then i owe and ill pay but i know i wasnt at CHI anytime for that claimed visit. They just want paid and get irritated if you question anything.
