The incorrect key fob was shipped. I have called the business office number several times daily and the recording always says that they are closed during the hours they claim to be open for business. The website they provide to make a return is not a valid website. I wanted to exchange for the correct key fob but have not been able to reach this company by any means. The key fob sent is: *********** and I need key fob: ***********. I have called every day since Monday, 05/12/2025 when the key fob arrived.

I bought 2 Nissan Pathfinder OEM 5 Button Key Fob on July 25, 2024
    Order # 484081

It took me a while to get the fob to my Nissan dealershi. When I took it in, they said that the 2 fob could not be linked to my vehicle bc they were already link to another vehicle and they could not unlink them.

I bought these with the understanding that they were brand new and OEM parts.

When i contacted customer service and explained that they were already linked to another vehicle and that the were sold to me as new and ready to use, they customer service rep said i was beyond the 30 day return period and would not take back for refund.

I let them know its unfair practice and dishonest to sell such a product and then to not take back when the customer points out this problem.

There is no reason why i would go through such time and troubles to just get back $118.61. It's purely principle that a company cannot sell under false pretenses.

    thank you.

    Hello,

We sell used OEM remotes. This is stated on every item listing. We do erase them so I don't know why they said they were locked. We have a 60 day money back guarantee but the order was from almost a year ago. I apologize.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: What this response tell me is that the business is not accepting my (the customer's assertions) that a faulty product was sold by the business.  Understanding that there is a certain policy (60 days), a well run business should realized on a case by case basis if it has done a disservice to a customer and make efforts to make amends.

In this case, it means recognizing that the customer was sold a product that could not be used and to say 'we are sorry this happened and here is your refund' OR 'we are sorry this happened and here is a replacement product and a shipping label to return the defective product we sold you".

    Sincerely,

    Hello,

I apologize but it states on our website:

Kick uncertainty to the curb with our risk-free 60-Day Hassle-Free Return Policy. Not that you’re inclined to need it. After all, you’re the pinnacle of expert shoppers.
But let’s be honest, life happens. Regardless of your reason, we guarantee a full refund within 60 days of purchase.

This order was from July of 2024. I am unable to issue a refund.

On March 8th 2025 I ordered products for $199. They were shipped in 2 separate packages and on 2 separate dates. I received tracking info for the 1st package and it was delivered. I was never given tracking info for the 2nd package even after requesting it. I filed complaint with ****** after reaching out to keyless city. They claimed it was delivered. I submitted to ****** emails from keyless city showing the order was in 2 separate packages and sent on different dates. I even shared an email from them showing my order was only partially ordered and when ****** contacted them and asked for the tracking info, they only provided the info for the 1st package which was delivered. I have reached out to them several more times and have still not heard anything from them. The cost of the item that I did not receive is $140+.

I purchased a key fob from Keyless Entry Remote Inc’s website that was described as, "Ford F-150 OEM 3 Button Flip Key Fob" for $71.72 on 01/02/2025. The company’s website describes and highlights the 'fact' that the keys they sell are OEM. I received the key, which looked correct and original. I took it to Ford and asked them to cut the key and program it. I was charged $144.99 by Ford for this service. However, the Ford technician was unable to program the key, as it was defective. He told me it did not appear to be an OEM Ford key either.

I contacted the merchant via phone and requested a refund for the key and the charges from Ford. I was told by the phone representative that the key was refurbished, but that they called it OEM because it was originally from Ford. They refused to credit me for anything, and I requested a supervisor to call me, which never occurred. Next, I wrote them several emails describing this issue and requesting a refund. I told the representative that I had attached the Ford service invoice with the comments from the technician proving the key was inoperable. I also asked her to look at the receipt that they provided me, which I also attached, as nowhere did it say the key was refurbished. They offered to “start a refund process", which they never did. They also told me that the key was tested before it left their hands and was working, so they would not refund me for the charges from Ford

If you look at the company’s website, you will see that they hide the fact that the keys they sell are refurbished. The advertising and wording they use is intentionally deceptive to make the buyer believe that the keys are new, original, OEM products. This type of advertising is unfair, and I am sure that I am far from the only customer whom they have defrauded.

I would like to be refunded my total loss of $216.71, for the key and programing costs.

As was mentioned in the email, we sell used OEM remotes. This is stated on every item we sell on the website. I have also emailed you a prepaid shipping label that was attached to my last email with you. It also states on our website that we do not cover programming costs. Please let me know if you did not receive the return shipping label. Thank you!

I am rejecting this response because it does not make me whole for my loss.  I am still out an additional $144.99 that I paid to Ford to program the damaged key that I was provided.

I placed an order for a Fob, batteries, and a magnetic key chain from Keyless Entry Remote the second week of May 2024 and have not received my order as of today. I live in Southern California but according to their tracking information, my order is traveling all over Pennsylvania. These companies create bogus shipments knowing full-well they haven't shipped the ordered items.

I placed order ******* with ***************************** on 11/5/23 for what was advertised only as "Nissan Altima OEM 4 Button Key Fob," with absolutely no mention whatsoever of the fact that they were used. The site emphasizes how wonderful "OEM quality" is, leading any reasonable person to assume they are new. I even checked the "FAQ" section of the site to make sure I wasn't missing anything, but there is no mention of there of the products being used.

Confident that I had purchased brand new items, I did not inspect them before hiring a mobile locksmith to program them at a cost of $130. When he arrived, I took out the fobs and immediately noticed that they appeared used. The locksmith already drove to my home so I let him proceed with the programming, and he was unable to program one of the fobs.

I called the company to ask if there was a mistake, and was told that they were in fact supposed to be used and that there was language to this effect on both the main page and the order page. The former claim is a flat out lie, and at first I couldn't find it on the order page either, but eventually saw that one must scroll down far beyond the order-placing button to eventually see tiny print that says something to the effect of "before you buy" which one must click to then open a menu that finally tells the truth...I can't confirm the exact language because right now even that section is now gone; one would be able to complete the order without ever seeing that they have been tricked.

I will be returning the fobs and expect a full refund, but the phone representative refused to reimburse the cost of the locksmith. I see from previous BBB complaints that they will make an exception for those with similar issues who refuse to accept this kind of abuse. I demand the same reimbursement, or as an attorney (** *** *******) I will look into initiating a class-action lawsuit in addition to spreading the truth about this incredibly unethical company via social media.

    Hello,
We sell used OEM remotes. No where on our site does it say we sell new remotes. It states this under the Before you purchase tab:

We are proud to offer true OEM key fobs direct to you at up to 80% off dealer prices. There is a catch though, so here it goes:

You need to know the only way to get a NEW OEM key fob is to go to a dealer or authorized reseller of OEM parts, and you will pay dealer prices if you do this and spend hundreds of dollars.

    Our Products:
The key fob you are going to purchase from us is used or as we like to say "previously loved". We recycle OEM key fobs and put them through a rigorous refurbishing process so we can guarantee our products and offer them at a reasonable price along with saving the environment. Oh, and we are not robbing you of your hard earned dollars like the stealership does. So if you are good with all of this what are you waiting for? Make your life easier, order a key fob from us and save the world!

This clause is under every single listing on our site.

As for programming costs, it does state on our site that we do not cover programming. In light of your concerns and to ensure a satisfactory resolution, we will proceed with processing a refund for your payment. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to addressing any issues promptly. If you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please feel free to contact us. Thank you

    Business Response

I would like to clarify the previous response. It was not explicitly stated that we will issue a refund for your programming costs. Please note that refunding programming costs is not a standard practice. However, we understand that there may be exceptional cases where we can offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: The individual responding appears to be illiterate, their responses aren't making any sense. Please escalate this to someone who is capable of understanding the following.

*You WILL reimburse me for the locksmith costs, otherwise I WILL initiate a class-action lawsuit*

This is not a complicated sentence, please have someone respond as if English is their first language. Thank you.

Order #****** dated 9/22/23 for a refurbished key fob for a 2022 Honda. Received key fob 9/28/23 and called a mobile locksmith to program. Mobile locksmith made 2 attempts to program and said the key fob received from Keyless Entry Remote was locked and could not be programmed. Called Keyless Entry Remote and requested a refund for the key fob and unsuccessful service call. If the key fob had worked I would have been happy to pay for the fob and service call. Keyless Entry Remote claimed they would refund the price of the key fob once it was returned to them but would not pay for the unsuccessful service call. As of this time no refund has been received from Keyless Entry Remote for either the bad fob or unsuccessful service call.

A copy of the receipt from Keyless Entry Remote is attached. I will request a copy of the receipt for the unsuccessful service call from the mobile locksmith.

Please advise why Keyless Entry Remote feels that it is my responsibility to pay for an unsuccessful service call for a bad key fob they sent?

    Business Response

    Hello,

We do have you set up for a return. According to the tracking number, you have not mailed the remote back. Once we get it back, we will issue you a full refund. As far as programming cost, it does state on our website that we do not cover programming. There could be several different reasons why the remote would not work. It could have been anything from the remote to the car to the programmer. That is why we do not cover programming. Thank you!

    Business Response

    Date: 10/05/2023

    Hello,

We do not normally reimburse programming fees but I am willing to make a one time exception. The product has been received back so we will refund that purchase back to the credit card used for the purchase. The reimbursement for programming fees will be issued via check and mailed via USPS. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make this right for you.
