OK, I called them and they said the window was in, but they were waiting to schedule because of the heat and that they would give me a call on a Friday. I waited for the call. There was no call. So the next week Monday I called. I got ahold of the scheduler and they said “I did not receive that message.” OK, I said let's do something and she said she would call back again that Friday. So that's going into the second week. She did not call again. I tried to contact them and they were closed; it was after 12:00 pm. It was closed on that Friday and I left a message to call me. They have not returned it so I'm still waiting.

And what's the resolution that you're looking for?

I want the window in. I paid for half of it – a little over $700. I want the window in the wall.

North Country started cold calling us again today. Today the phone call was from "Heather with North Country Windows and Bath." We have been asking them to stop calling us for YEARS, as we are on the Do Not Call list, which they are ignoring. We have never and will never do business with them. We've already filed multiple complaints with both the FTC and at least two complaints with the BBB about them. And if they follow their normal pattern, they won't call for a year or two once they receive this complaint and then will start calling again. They are egregiously violating the Do Not Call list.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

We have attended no such shows, do not sign up for such things, and this has been a repeating pattern for the last 20 years with North Country.

Why would we have North Country call us when we contacted a different company 3 years ago and had them install windows for us and that company was the only company we contacted.

I don’t appreciate being accused of not sticking to the facts.

      Sincerely,

      Debra ***********

Thanks again for sending the information from this complaint. We are closing this complaint on our end as the number is on our DNC list. We apologize to the ************* for the alleged communication.

After double checking the information the phone number provided by the customer only consists of 6 digits. Please provide the full phone number so we can cross reference the full phone record. ALL of our lists are compliant with the DNC list.

We are a ******* dealer as well and Heather is a customer response specialist for call in quotes. If the client contacted North Country or *******  regarding an advertisement they seen on TV or other media, we call them back to schedule a quote. Note that "North Country" is the local ******* dealer so not all advertising media includes that our name. I suspect that this is the issue, at least I'm hoping that is the issue, as we double checked our call history and the 6 digits provided have not been called in the past 90 days  from our marketing phones. They would have had to been contacted via our main phone lines, likely in response to in inquiry from the potential client.

We DO NOT ever want to contact anyone that does not want to be called. Hopefully we can resolve this matter asap.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

We have had ZERO contacts with this company, nor with any of the products they sell. In fact, we've been deliberately avoiding this company since they started their non-stop spam calling PRIOR to the DNC list's existence, because even then they refused to stop calling when asked.

      Sincerely,
