    Pay for a weekly trash pickup, has been 2 weeks since they picked it up, now being told it’s gonna be another week. Company will not come get the trash or do anything about it. Road has been clear and get mail everyday so they cannot use that excuse

    Dear Mr. ******

    I am writing to address a specific
    issue and provide a response to your Better Business Complaint Id #********, filed
    on January 18th, 2024.  We at
    Waste Connections take safety very seriously. 
    We strive to assure complete safety of our employees, our customers and
    the public in all our operations. 
    Protection from accident or injury is paramount in all we do.   The week of January 8th we were
    presented with two major snowstorms that effected the safety of our employees
    and the public.  
    The weather conditions effected
    our entire service area.  We did not have
    control over the weather, the surrounding landfills closing or how quickly the different
    counties cleared the roads.  Due to these
    issues this caused a delay in getting our rural residents safely serviced.  I do show that service has resumed as normal
    for you with completed service dates of January 25th, February 1st and February 8th. We apologize for the hassle you experienced while
    we played catch up after the January winter storms and we appreciate your
    patience.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    All usps still delivered. Not only was I charged for service all month that I did not get, my bill even went up. And ehen I had called customer service before filing the complaint the had the audacity to lie to me and tell me the reason they couldn’t come was because the “dumps were all closed”. Any other place would have had the decency to tell their customers they would not be coming and would not charge them for a service they failed to provide.
