On March 3, 2021, Josh ****** cashed a check in the amount of $****** given to him by ************************* as a payment from our HELOC to purchase siding materials for our home. We had been in contact with him periodically trying to get a receipt or an eta on the materials and when the work would be done. The last communication we received from him was on April 27, 2021, in which the comment included that he knew he needed to be better at communicating. After that date, multiple text/messages were sent without response. I then sent an email on July 2, and another more aggressive email on July 8 requesting him to contact us to discuss what is going on or further action will be taken. Again I received no response. I have since discovered that his company received 'Administrative Dissolution' on June 15, 2021. At the very least, I would like the $****** back to hire a more reliable company to complete the work he failed to do.Initial Complaint

We paid Josh ****** $**** on April 12, 2021 to replace our roof, gutters and repair a piece of siding. He said he'd let us know when he would do the job. We never heard from him, so I began texting him. In May he told us he couldn't get the shingles in we ordered. So we picked different ones. We never heard back. So in late May 2021 I text again and he said he couldn't do it with all the rain and once there was no chance of rain we'd be on the schedule. Beginning of June we found out one outside wall is full of mold due to the roof leaking so I let him know. He said he'd do it June 22 or 24th. Never showed or called so I text him. The next week he apologized and said he had to take his wife to the ER and he had to stay home to help care for their boys. I called Rick *****, our insurance agent. Rick called him twice the first of July and left voicemails. Josh has never responded. We need to get our money back and find a new roofer.
