  We lived with them in ********* ************. They were good at fixing and maintaining any maintenance requests. The problem was when we moved out. I didnt realize why they rushed us through the move-in process on the day. We moved in the lady was in there for two minutes, and two construction guys were inside the kitchen tearing up the whole countertop for two days. They didnt clean up after themselves. We told him not a big deal and she said sorry we didnt clean the carpets. she told us theyre brand new carpet so it didnt matter. We trusted this company and when we moved out we had everything completely cleaned. I rented a company to carpet clean for the first time on these brand new carpets. and the carpet people told us stains came up from underneath because they lining under the carpet and they probably used old and used padding. Not our fault. Prolific charged us $2000 and kept our deposit for these carpets. Have lived in four states with multiple property management companies and always got a little deposit back. we take care of everything we own we travel for a living and depend on the ability to rent an apartment. They are crooks and 30 days to the day of them giving us a $2000 **** **** sent us to a collection agency. Its so frustrating that we cant do anything about this company. we now know to take ******************************************************************************************** an apartment. We have always had good luck with property agencies until now. Being honest. These guys are not dont rent them if you can help it.

  Hello *******, Thank you for your inquiry. We did what we could to try to avoid carpet replacement with multiple visits by our team to remove the staining in each bedroom that was caused by your short tenancy. The move in form and pictures do not notate or offer any staining or odor, however, it was very clear that upon check out these areas were damaged with heavy staining and odor (likely from pets) that we could not remove through carpet cleaning or by our professional cleaning team. This was the reasoning behind the need to replace the carpets. There is no malicious intent, as you are suggesting. We simply did what we needed to do in order to provide a clean and odor free apartment to the person we re-leased the apartment to after you moved out. An ill-intentioned management company would not have worked with you to re-lease your apartment when you had to relocate sooner than your lease ended. We were happy to have helped you out in this situation, for which we re-leased your apartment a couple months before it was to end. Therefore, we were able to alleviate the financial burden from having to pay more months than needed. In the end, it was unfortunate the carpet condition was poor at check out.
