  My name is **** ***** They where on time did a very job good use good quality merchandise do not cut corners up front on price the workers that came out did good job keeping ever thing clean covered everything nice to talk to salesman went over everything with me did help me get home insurance to get it done with out a lot of out of pocket

  My experience with Mid Atlantic was not good. They were dishonest and trying to take advantage of me and the insurance company. I asked three times for a quote and was never given one. They didn't do full replacement of the roof which was in all correspondence and paperwork. The roof has different angles and they didn't do part of the back, which you can't really tell because of the angle. My neighbor happened to notice and brought it to my attention. There were about 10 pkgs of shingles leftover which were picked up a few days later. The adjuster was told they ran out. I had another roofing company come look and there was enough to complete. They sent me an invoice of $1,250 more to complete the back (which I didn't sign or pay). This was the biggest thing, but there were several things that weren't quite right and I felt was under-handed.

  Since we work closely with insurance companies, we guarantee to do the job for what the insurance company pays except for any upgrades above what the insurance company is covering. There was nothing indicating on the scope of work from the insurance company that there was a section(s) that were not included, and we were also under the impression that the insurance company paid for the entire roof. We send extra material to each job to ensure that materials do not run out or if there is anything delivered damaged etc. our crews will not use the damaged materials and instead have a surplus to pull from the extra materials that are sent. These extra materials do not get charged to the homeowner. The homeowner is only charged for what is put on the roof. During the installation, it was determined that there were two sections that the homeowner is talking about that were newer than the rest of the roof. Those sections were a 27x11 and 13x9 area. If these areas would have been completed, we wouldn’t have had enough shingles to complete the job even with the additional materials that were delivered. With waste, those areas came to 4.66 squares and insurance was only paying for 14.56 squares. Upon discovering this, we contacted the insurance company to request a supplement which was denied. We installed 19.66squares when insurance only paid for 14.56squares. In the end, we completed the entire roof and since we were unable to get the insurance company to pay for the additional materials and labor to complete the job, we did the right thing and completed the job and did not charge the homeowner for the additional materials and labor. We have proof of what was purchased and the additional amount that Mid Atlantic covered to complete the entire job which was an additional 4.66squares.

  MidAtlantic Roofing recently replaced my roof due to a defect in shingle manufacturing. They were knowledgable and efficient and cleaned up thoroughly. I was so impressed that I recruited two more neighbors who had the defective shingles, putting them in touch with Jeremey Borden who coordinated with my insurance company making the process efficient and worry free.
