Stored furnishings until I returned to go to college **** in April 24. ******, mom, paid monthly fee and their $15-20 insurance for up to $3000 worth of furnishings in unit, monthly. When I took out my items, a year old mattress was over 1/3 rd covered with black mold/mold. The ******************* threw it out with my older sister advising as there was no way to clean it or sleep on it. As soon as I was settled, my mom told me to file claim as it was a new mattress and covered by their insurance company. I went in and was told no by one person, the person wasnt there to talk to I was not given support by the people that worked there. Still unclear if they had their own insurance company. But it was clear that as a college student, never having dealt with this, I was given the run around and denial of right to file claim. Once mom got involved, I finally received a stack of paperwork to fill out. They sent to insurer, said it was complete, with mover statements, waited 6 months+, recd another stack of papers to fill out, nothing digital. I was told on numerous phone calls, all was complete it just takes time to process. Im still waiting. Ive called so many times to no avail. Please help. Im sure they take advantage of all college students who dont know about this stuff. They owe me $474 for a mattress that would be $800+ to replace. I slept on floor for a while thinking it would be taken care of due to forms, insurance all completed. Its 9 months + now. No help. No check. Just fraudulent charges of insurance for my items they want me to forget about. ****** wont let nearly $500 go away given college, single mom life. Please help. Very rude. Very unhelpful without badgering. Still saying complete but takes time any time I call. ???? Help.

We rent a unit at this location and during it was burglarized. Only our unit was targeted, the lock was apparently cut with bolt cutters. Admittedly by the office staff the gate was open and broken from that Saturday afternoon to Monday afternoon. In addition to some of the cameras being non operational. We discovered the theft that Monday morning, at which time we called the police, made a report and began working with the office manager. Since at the time of contract signing we opted to add on insurance for an additional monthly fee, we were given a notice of loss form from the office manager and instructions on how to file a claim. We completed necessary documentation and emailed this to the email given on the form. By all accounts we completed the process to initiate the claim. It's been two weeks and we have received no contact regarding this claim in any manner, not by phone or email. It appears the insurance company contracted by go store it doesn't exist. There are three different company names so far and none of them have working phone numbers with actual people and every email responds with an automated email and no follow up. The store manager states she can't do anything and there are no listed numbers or emails to people higher up in the administrative chain. It appears that go store it plans to ignore the claim and refuses to communicate with ** on a timeline to resolve this issue. We paid for insurance coverage that we are essentially being denied without any form of communication from either go store it or the insurance agency they contract with.
