On 09/28/2022, the owner of Mid Atlantic Counter Tops, ******* ******* called me and said ****** you" multiple times after I attempted to address his threat towards my elderly father for a kitchen project that he abandoned then demanded final payment.

I tried to resolve things when he left my elderly parents without a sink and stove for months because he lied to them about his arrival day after day (I had to stay with them for a month so I could monitor him). I tried to resolve things after he told my father he was going to put a lien on his house for lack of payment (my father is 76 years old and built his home from the ground up 40 years ago; that is scary for a contractor to make that type of threat when my father tried to work with him to finish the project) but he stated that he did not know my father and had never been to his address. I've tried to resolve things but for the last year, we have dealt with ********* lies and shoddy work (broken appliances, damaged molding/ finishing, poorly installed flooring, countertops balanced by visible wedges, wobbling/ unfinished cabinets, a portable island that cannot move because of the size of the wheels...so many issues that I'm sure will need to be reinstalled correctly). The work is still unfinished over a year later.

He has taken advantage of my parents who have patronized him and referred people to his business for over a decade. It is sickening! And the way he spoke to me today is infuriating! What professional businessman tells the daughter of a customer (because he made it clear that I am not important since I am not the contract holder; a contract I have yet to see and that his staff were scrambling to find but never produced) to "be quiet...**** you" when they are being questioned about their unprofessional and unethical practices?

I am shaking with anger and hurt as I write this review but I hope it helps someone avoid a potentially bad business deal.

I wish I didn't have to give that one star.
