    We called Bobby Evans plumbing service on July 6th to have a person come out to take a look at our water heater. We had no hot water in the house at all. During the inspection of the unit he determined that the issue was a value he needed to order and replace to resolve the issue. He informed us he would order the value and put a rush on it. The total would be 600 dollars for the part and install. He informed us he would notify us when it arrived at the shop. He called us on July 10th informing us the part had arrived and he would be out to install the part July 11th from *****PM. He arrived and installed the part and following installation he discovered that the gas line had been temporarily shut off. The issue wasn't the part but because the gas was turned off to the house. However, he continued to charge us the 600 dollar5s for the part and labor even with his mistake of not inspecting the unit and fixing the correct issue. Later on July 11th Old Dominion came to the house and turned back on the gas and said it was turned off by accident and it was shut off July 4th when we were out of town. Even the gas company informed us that we should have never been charged for the part or the work. The gas company didn't charge us anything for the mistake and turned the gas back on July 11th.
