      Their customer service is terrible, they canceled my account after I complied about them not picking up my trash.

      This company is the worst! Very rude customer service!! After a month and half calling to come pickup the cans from my house and being told I would have to pay if I got rid of them. Im so glad I canceled! They should pay me for keeping them! They come when they want and leave cans in the middle of the road. If you are for a good service do NOT call active!

      Horrible customer service. Extremely rude and they hang up on you. Had their service for years and their workers would leave trash all over my front yard and when I would call to let them know, they said its not the responsibility of them to pick up trash if it falls out when they dump it in the truck. Fired them and hired a great company. Dont settle for active waste! Save your money!

      This place is a joke! They got no problem taking money but def wont do the job. My trash was supposed to be taken off on Friday. I have a recycling and trash can.. only the recycling was taken off. This is not the first time that 1 or the other.. but not both cans were not dumped! I called Friday 1/6/23 and told someone was coming to get the trash, no one showed all weekend. Called 1/9/23 at 10:18 am, was told they would send someone to get it. No one came.. so I called back that after noon around 4:30 and was then told it was a 24 hour ticket.. (so they wouldnt come until the next day) well that day is today 1/10/23 still no one picked up my trash. Call back again and now they are saying it might not be until tomorrow! They dont want to give a credit for the job they didnt do unless I cancel the recovery truck .. what sense does that make. So they dont do their job.. and in order to fix it they have to send an extra truck, but still wanna keep the money like they did their job! A complete joke!!!!!!!!!!! I have been a customer for awhile!! But they lost one today when I was hung up on! Stay FAR FAR AWAY!!!!

      I just canceled my service today. I pay for it one year in advance and don't expect hidden charges as I budget my money accordingly. Today ,I got an alert from my credit card that they charged me for extra fees (service and gas charges) that were not part of the original year in advance purchase. I called my credit card company today and asked them to refuse the charge. On top of that, they've repeatedly thrown the recycle bin into my flower beds and killed my plants (several times after I sent one email with a photo). I sent them photos of the damage and asked to be reimbursed. Several other neighbors have complained about this service and now it's my turn after 4 years of service with them. Very sad way to run your business.
