    We took a dress to have it altered. The dress was "butchered" so we returned the next business day for a refund. The gentleman was extremely rude and all he would say is "NO MONEY BACK". We had to pay cash upfront with no receipt only a pick up slip. Due to time constraints, we did not feel comfortable having him attempt to repair what he had "butchered" in the first place. After seeing the quality of work there was no way we were going to leave it with him again. His language barrier was terrible and CASH ONLY upfront with no receipt should have been a warning. We are simply looking for our $68 to be refunded and at this point it is principle only. People like this should not be in business!

    My wife paid in cash,up front to have alterations done on a pair of jeans for my son. My wife returned today 01-08-23 to pick up the jeans. My son tried them on the work they performed wasn’t correct as my wife paid for and the owner/ manager originally agreed to do for the price agreed to by my wife and the manager. Long story short, after 10 minutes the manager said he would fix it to our satisfaction for an additional $15.00. My wife left with the jeans and no resolution but to go to another Taylor, mind you we have been using this Taylor since 2005! Their quality had gone down but we remained loyal. My wife told me the story and I was incensed over the pettiness of the manager! I am a former N.Y.P.D. officer who had worked in the Asian community and realized before I walked into the establishment that the individual would be a hard worker but wouldn’t budge on a dissatisfaction. I went to the establishment and asked to speak to the manager and explained the situation. He went on continually about the work he completed, I didn’t have a language barrier or impediment, he refused to see the problem of not fulfilling the contract that my wife entered into with him. He said he would satisfy us for an additional $15.00 which I informed him wasn’t going to happen as he intinally didn’t do the job correctly the first time. I tried to explain that $93.00 was a lot of money for the work he did and I also acknowledged he worked on them but he didn’t fulfill his promise that was agreed to by him and my wife. I reminded him of our loyalty to him for 15 years and the posted complaint by another customer several weeks ago on ******** web site for neighborhoods in the **** ****** region and beyond. I also explained to him that I am a business man who runs a fruit and snack route for corporate, as well as gas stations. All to no avail, I told him I would lodge a complaint with the BBB and ********* He walked to the back room of the establishment and didn’t return and I left.

    My respond to this Complaint as follows:
    all the proofs in attachment.
    The customer dropped 2 jeans on DEC 22,2022.The due date is Dec 30,2022.We altered the waist take in,legs tapered and shorten hem follow the customer.And we charged waist take in $15/jean,taper $22/jean and $10/jean,So total 2 jeans are $94.But when customer picked up,He want to take in hip part (seat part)too.So we told him need charge $15 additional,because hip part take in we need take care of front and back pockets and try best to keep original.It is a lot work to do.So we need charge $15 more.
