              On 1/18/2024 Old Dominion picked up our product to transport it to our customer in ***********. After delivery, we were informed by the customer that our product had been badly damaged in transit and was beyond repair (see photos attached). We had to remake the product at our own expense and pay for freight a second time at our expense as well to ship the new product to our customer. We filed a claim with Old ******************** for the sum of $700 reimbursement and were rejected. We were told we cold only get $200 back. I spoke to my managers and was told they would be willing to settle for $400 but Old Dominion refused. I was told $200 is what Old Dominion would offer, so I amended the claim for the $200 and submitted it. We are still out several hundred dollars though and I would like at least $200 more from Old Dominion to at least meet the $400 minimum that my managers requested.

              I am a first time customer with a need to ship a crate from Seattle to upstate New York. I dropped off the crate for shipment by Old Dominion then offered my credit card for payment. It was returned by the guy behind the counter with a hand written phone number I was asked to call to make the credit card payment within a specific time frame…8am to 8 pm. . He specifically said the crate would not move until payment was received. After leaving the terminal I called the number which reached an automated voice asking for the invoice number. Repeatedly, the number I entered was invalid. I pressed the ”star” key for assistance as directed. Eventually I was handed off to Monica (in the very same office as the guy behind the counter) who said the crate had ALREADY SHIPPED! Then I found out the cost was to be $2500. Had I known this at the counter when I tried to pay with the card I would have shipped elsewhere for 1/4 the price. So now my crate will arrive in a few days with a charge that I do not have the funds to pay!!!
