Man handles my dog and not truthful over the telephone with customers. My dog was checked by this vet. and when I picked my dog up to return home, my dog according to personnel at the vet. said our dog had a reaction to a vaccine that this vet. that examined our dog. After three days of trips to this vet. our dog is still having trouble breathing. Today, May 11th, 2023, I took our dog back this vet. to have ex rays of our dog's throat. An agreement was made between my wife to do the ex-rays and be billed. This turned out to be a lie. When I took our dog to this vet. they took our dog and later returned with our dog and held the dog out of my reach, asking for payment. When I informed this girl personnel of my wife's agreement, the girl personnel man handled our dog and took our dog into a room. I was then approached by four women who still had our dog and I told them that refusing to give me our dog was a violation of law, and I would contact the Guilford County Sherriff's. One of the females that was holding our dog man handled our dog by shoving our dog across the counter into my hands which was uncalled for. I then left the property of Stokesdale vet. and met with a Guilford County Sherrif deputy at the fire station in Stokesdale who told this was a civil matter. I agreed. with him and writing this complaint for unsafe practices in handling any aminol. We will not be returning to this vet due to untruthiness and handling of any animal.
