We signed a contract with Sun Fun Pools/ Year Round Pools in November 2021. The owner , Tim R*** , told us he had one pool he was finishing up and then he would start our pool and that ours was the last pool he was doing. We have since learned he had more than a dozen jobs unfinished at the time and he continued getting people to sign contracts after ours. He was to begin digging our pool at the first of March 2022. He didn’t begin digging until July and said it would be completed and done by the end of July 2022. As of right now , July 19th 2023, we still do not have a completed pool. We have paid him for all of our equipment including our liner and padding, chemicals , diving board, pump, filter and many other things and have yet to receive any of it. We’ve asked for the items to be delivered to us so that we can hire someone else to finish the job. He has yet to do so. We’ve also partially paid for a waterfall that was to be installed on the pool. He has promised us for over a year that our pool will be completed “by the end of the week”. It seems as though he has taken our money and used it for something else because he still does not have our items. Best we can figure, we’re out $15,000-$20,000.
