    I rented a unit for a month. I called to have the unit picked up 5 days before due date and was told I would be charged additional month. Aftwr complaining they reduced it to 2 additional weeks and as of now the pod is still in my driveway. I am being told that it will be an additional week before the pod will be picked up. I feel that they are billing me the additional charges due to their inability to pick up the unit and they want to keep their rental numbers up.

    In working with the customer throughout his family's move our aim was to be transparent, expedient and solution oriented. The customer called in on Wednesday (5/14), after the cutoff date that is mutually agreed upon in his lease, to inform us the unit would be empty and available for pickup starting on Friday (5/16). Our accounting team reached out to him to review the account and agreed to only charge 50% of what is agreed to in his lease. He was asked, during this call, if there was anything we needed to consider regarding the pick up. Unfortunately, no special requirements were highlighted outside of a desire to move as quickly as possible. On Monday (5/19) customer called back and informed us of the challenges with his new HOA. We immediately flagged his UNIT for expedited scheduling at no additional charge to him. We picked up the unit early morning on Wednesday 5/21. Picking up the unit within 3-4 business days once it was ready and available for us to pickup is well within the pickup time frame stated in the signed lease. We can provide a copy of the signed lease if necessary. Thanks for helping to resolve this case.
