Fins and Critters is off the main highway in ****** and few know about it. But the loyal and regular customers there rave about it happily any chance they get and recommend family and friends as often as they go themselves. Two of the girls bring their own dogs to work most days to watch them and spend more time with them while work diligently to take care of the large variety of animals the shop has and happily take care of customers. A friendly talkative man is in the fish section some days happily talking to fish and customers alike and thoroughly enjoying his job. Two girls (usually one though) work in the reptile room taming the more rambunctious snakes so small children and the more scared adults can safely handle them with no worries and experienced reptile owners can appreciate their calm demeanors and personalitys that shine through. They coo over the bearded dragons (that usually end up very spoiled and sweet) and the other lizards they get in and can easily tell you anything you could need or ever want to know about their variety of scaly friends. This pet store can help you with finding a brand new best friend, taking care of a recently bought pet, or just buying new goodies for an already owned pet. Theyre a safe donation center for already owned pets that others cant or wont take care of anymore and theyll love them just as much and happily find them homes. Ive watched the girls sadly fish out some dead fish each morning then do water changes and all sorts of tests to make sure itll be safe for future fish and solemnly tell other fish owners how to raise or lower levels in their tanks to help take care of their own swimming friends. Overall the staff here is very knowledgeable, friendly, caring and sweet. I love shopping here and I hope others will too.
