This complaint is against a shady salesman at Toyota of Roanoke Rapids, **** E. 10th St. Roanoke Rapids, ** *****. This car dealership sent a prize ad way here to *********** and the ad have you to call to verify the confirmation number and the winning prize number to receive instructions for you to go to their dealership to claim your prize. The matched prize number gave clear indication that a television was won once we called the dealership to confirm the matching prize numbers. Arriving to this dealership there is a fat medium height dark skin salesman that wears a large cowboy hat named Cowboy-**** that attended to us. We stated that we were there to claim our prize, and Cowboy-**** repeatedly was more interested in trying to sell us a car first. We looked at some cars and were interested in the price, because the prices was not featured on the vehicles. Cowboy-**** ensured us that he would ONLY do a soft pull of our credit first and as soon as our credit was pulled our phones alerted us that a hard pull was requested on our credit report. We informed Cowboy-**** several times that he did a hard pull on our credit but each time he said only a soft pull was done. The prize ad turned out to be a lure to get you to the dealership and then you are told to select one of 20 blank envelopes, all had a $2 bill in it. The next day on the phone with Cowboy-**** telling him that I called Experian and my bank and was confirmed that a hard pull was indeed pulled on my credit report and instead of listening to me Cowboy-**** rudely hung up on me. Next, on the phone I had General Manager *********************** telling me that ONLY hard pulls are ever done at that dealership and he did apologize for my experience with that salesman. I gave that dealership a one star review because the receptionist and the ** was very pleasant and helpful but allowing that LIAR, Cowboy-****, to continue working there is bad business. It's no surprise that the Better Business Bureau rated them with a D-.

They do not , do not stop even after you tell them No I was told ,I could walk out the door but I don't get my old car back.. I was cussed at , bulled, mistreated, lied to. My credit score went down 10 points in 12 days just since dealing with them. We were not given car fax until after purchase. We paid for 3 more years of warranty with no papers ,but I signed them. Where are they. I was in another town after 2weeks of having this car on to find out it was never inspected, tags were never transfered over, then next call was they just did inspection on my car. Isn't that illegal? I was several towns over with proff, and he calls telling me this, then at 1:00 that Fri. Knocks on my door handing me my registration????? Can this really happen
