King Bee Fence, Decking, Shed is unreliable and has poor customer service. Just like most of the other complaints on here, the owner ******** *******, took our money and didn't do any work. We gave a deposit for a shed for $5K on Nov 4 and the check was cashed on Nov 9, 2021. The contract also included him requesting the permit. The owner said the work would start by Thanksgiving. Early Dec, we still hadn't heard from him even though we had texted and call multiple times. He finally contacted us and said he had a medical issue and that he would be cleared to work again. He would finish up the project soon. After not hearing from him, I contacted him to ask for a timeline for the project. He said he wouldn't get to us before Christmas but definitely before the new year. On Jan 5/6, 2022, he stopped by the house and told us he would start the work on Mon Jan 10. On Jan 10 @3:40, he text to ask me my address and lot number so that he could submit the permit for the shed. He said that he would come by the house the morning of Jan 13. That afternoon he sent a text stating he had an appt in Chapel Hill and wouldn't be back but will come by on Jan 14 to get things started. On Jan 14, he text to say the permit still wasn't ready and blamed the county for asking too many questions and having a backlog due to COVID. On Feb 4, I called the county to check the status of the permit and it was issued that day even though the owner never notified us. He said he would be at the house on Mon Feb 7 to start the work. After several attempts to contact him on Thur Feb 11, he said that he had started another job but he would come by Feb 12. Fri Feb 12, he called and told me that his truck is not working. Feb 19, he told us he would start the job Mon Feb 21 in the morning. By late morning we had not heard anything and tried to contact him. He called to say that we were calling him too much. He offered to refund us and we agreed. This guy is a liar and is unreliable.
