On 4-26-25 I did in house financing With Car connection in Raleigh it was a 2011 jeep grand Cherokee with ******* miles he told me 3000 down that I paid with money orders. He told me it was gonna be 249 every two weeks but never put when the payments start on the paper. There was a ticking noise and he told me the ticking would stop if not Monday come in and he would do the oil change. I came back Monday 4-28 he did the oil change. I questioned him about my paperwork and receipts for everything. & he then gave me paperwork. The ticking never stopped and then the tail light and turning signal were out they said bring it to fix that didnt fix I ended up doing. But 5-16 I bring my car up there again for a sounding like a lawnmower when I push the gas. he stated he would fix it no charge nothing was discussed we leave come back he says its 150 repair. All we ask is ok you never said that you said you would fix it we didnt mind paying we have the money. But let us here that the sound stopped they said no were not doing anything until you pay or not letting you get the key. then, after we said fine whats the fees he changed it to no you owe 500 for payments your backed up with. How when it would only be one payment due if its only been two weeks which is only 250 but he never even discussed or put on paper when the payments start. even after I said that he switched it to no you owe 500 for the tags not the payments. When I got the truck he said 3000 included all the fees. So because I was making sense and they know they scammed me they said matter of fact now the car is repoed and your not getting it back. & locked the car said we cant get it all. Because they were mad that I was making sense and realized there trying to get over on me. I have there paperwork they gave me they have the wrong date on it they never even signed it. We asked him to show me where it says its 500 for fees anywhere he said he would email it to me.They are very deceitful and shady.

I purchased a vehicle from this establishment March 6th 2025, within 3 days the vehicle breaks down in the middle of traffic. The vehicle was towed back to the dealership, which they did a disagnostic, the check engine light was on and also the transmission was bad. I was told this would cost me $1,500 to repair. The vehicle was inoperable due to this. This company has an extensive history of selling "junk cars" that breaks down or becomes inoperable within days of purchasing the vehicle. This shouldn't be happening. The vehicle was also in an accident, which wasn't disclosed to me. I'm requesting a full refund. I do plan to take this company to small claims court.

I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu on 12/14/23 from Car Connections, LLC in Raleigh, **. I purchased the car because Mo (the salesman) assured me that there was nothing wrong with the car. The total down payment required was $2,500. I put a down payment of $2,000 and was told that I had a month to pay the remaining $500. The agreement was that I pay $243.15 bi-weekly for 44 months. On 12/28/23 I made a payment of $300. Approximately 2 weeks after purchasing the car the brakes gave completely out while I was driving. A week later, the car slowed down and completely stopped running. During this time I discovered an oil leak which I tried to fix by using a can of oil leak stop that I purchased from Auto Zone. I took the car back to Car Connections for repairs the week of 1/8/23. I was given many dates as to when the car would be ready. I purchased the car to get back and forth to work. Since I had no car, I had to use my funds to pay to get back and forth to work and was unable to make car payments. I was told to pay the amount owed and I could pick the car up. After about 2 weeks, I was told that I was required to pay for repairing the car. My mother went to the dealership and was told by Mo that if I made the payments owed plus the $300 that I could pick the car up. He did not mention paying for the parts. Later, when asked why I was responsible for repairs or parts, he explained that they basically had to rebuild the motor. I didnt drive the car a good month and now the motor needs rebuilding? I dont have anything in writing, only a lot of back and forth with Mo and someone who claimed to be the manager. There was no response from Car Connections to a complaint filed with the ************************.

I purchased a **** for my wife July 11, 2024 as a gift. I was asked to put $2000.00 down payment. I put down $1500.00 instead. I was told that the remainder $500.00 would be added to my monthly car payments, which did not seem right but because my wife needed a car a vehicle I went along with it. I was having some financial problems so I contacted Mo at this establishment to makes some payment arrangements. Mo and I texted back and forth and came to an agreement to pay $500.00 to avoid any problems until a further date which was discussed. I made the payment by ***** Pay of $500.00 to CarConnection with a name attached ***** ******. To no avail. On the morning of September 5th I heard a loud noise of a tow truck towing the Jeep. The truck has been repossessed after making a payment arrangement with "Mo". I called the dealership as soon as they opened on the 5th and got the run around. People would pick up the phone and claim Mo was not in the office. I had a friend ,of mine call and guess what... all of a sudden Mo was the one who answered. He claimed he would find out where my truck was and call me around 2 that afternoon. I called him back and whoever answered the phone at that time said Mo was NEVER in the office. At that time I had had enough, so I went to the dealership to speak to Mo myself. When I showed up I asked to speak to Mo and the financial person went in the back and came out an HOUR later. An HOUR. He stated he didn't know which tow company took my truck, and that Mo had no authority to makes decisions. If Mo has no authority that is NOT my problem that HE is running around making deals. They need to stand by the deal HE made since THEY hired him. It is so much more to this story. I want my truck back for my wife. I want this resolved NOW. This place is a rip off. But I want this gift back for my wife. ******** this company should not be in business. It is amazing to me that they are getting away with what they are doing.

Purchased a vehicle with an oil leak and that was tampered with prior to the purchase to manipulate the belief that the car was in good standing. The mechanic has admitted that it was not reliable and that they had attempted to fix it multiple times before we purchased the vehicle.

I paid $2500 on a down payment for a 2012 dodge avenger. The dealer failed to tell me numerous issues that the car had. For example the car was sold to me without a left brake pad and the right brake pad was so worn down to the point where it was just the back metal plate. Which also means this car was sold to me without a proper car inspection done. I reached out to the dealer once my mechanic notified me about the brakes. That was on Wednesday 04/10, my car payment was coming up that Friday the 12th. I let him know that I needed him to work with me on the payment but never got a response. That Sunday he had the car towed and it was repossessed. Monday after giving me the run around for hours he let me know that the car was repossessed and that I had to pay $1400 in repo and tow fees. Ive never heard of anybody being charged that much for repo fees. I even reached out to an attorney and he said that amount was outrageous. It took me about 2 weeks to get the money to pay him. After the fees were paid i went to pick up the car and noticed numerous personal items missing and the mileage was higher than the last time I had drove it. Not only do I believe the car was being driven, I started experiencing other issues with the car that I had not experienced prior to it being repossessed. After having the car back in my possession for 2 weeks the engine went out. While i was driving the oil lamp symbol came on and the engine light came on. The car began to vibrate and then it sounded like something flew off. The car then stopped rolling and i was stranded on the side of the road with my 3 year old autistic son in the backseat. The dealer did an oil change but failed to tell me that I had an engine leak. An engine leak that goes unfixed for any duration of time can cause the engine to essentially blow up. Which is exactly what happened. This dealership has a history of getting over on people which I did not realize until after I purchased the car. Please help!

On March 8th 2023 I went to the car connection. I went to test drive a 2016 Arcadia GMC SUV. When driving the vehicle there were no problems initially. As I went back to the dealership and proceeded to do the paperwork on the car, there was some things that needed to be adjusted which were at the window on the car. I drove off the lot the same day with the vehicle 10 minutes down the road on the highway the car beginning to put. I am mediately called the dealership and informed the manager by the name of *** about the concerns on the vehicle. We exchanged several messages. I then that night the car to the AutoZone that was not too far because I could not make it home in that condition and I had my children in the car. They printed off a sheet with the concerns on the vehicle vehicle and I let them know what they stated. Mow then tell me to bring the car back in and as I did, he is sure that it was a cap that needed to be placed on the car , and that was all. However, the next day when I bought the vehicle back, I got down the road 15 minutes this time, and the vehicle began to do the same thing. I text *** again and stated that the vehicle is doing the same thing as before, and he wanted me to bring him back days later because he could not get to it at the time. The finance company called to do a welcome call before they release the funds to the dealership and asked me was everything OK on the car and I stated to them as well no. *** wanted me to lie to the finance company that the car was fixed when the car was not, and proceeded to lie to the company as well, and say that I had already picked up the vehicle And it was fixed. I drop the vehicle off for several days due to them having to do extensive work on the vehicle, which then I realize that it was a deeper problem than what they were telling me. I called the finance company and let them know that everything was not OK on the car still and then they got back to the Dealership and raised concerns.

He sold us a lemon from the beginning of the transaction. He waited out the 30 days . So he wouldnt have to fix it or trade out the vehicle. The vehicle he promise to trade it for he put it up online to be sold hes buying cars from the auctions fixing only the minors problem so your left with the major problem. We still have not received a title or any sales documents from these scam artists. We want our money back and want out of this contract. I have voice recordings of this company fake promises.

I went to Car Connection Raleigh on 10/14/23. I viewed a 2013 ****** Rogue as well as test drove it, and there were no issues aside from the tire. They promised to replace the tire, run an inspection, and detail the car before I picked it up and officially bought it on Monday. On the evening of 10/16/23 I bought the car as well as a year warranty. I sign the paper work, get in the car, and the check engine light is on, the airbag light is on, and the back driver door doesnt work. I relay these issues and they say to bring it back in on Friday, and they will have it fixed by Friday. I had my boyfriend who is a mechanic run a diagnostics test on Wednesday and sent the codes for all of the issues with the car to the dealership. On the afternoon of 10/19/23 the transmission went out while I was working. The warranty company said they would send someone out on three separate occasions that evening to bring the car to the shop. They never did and I paid out of pocket for a new towing service to bring it to them. They tell me it will be ready on Sunday. 10/22/23 comes around and they stop responding to me entirely. I had to pay out of pocket for a rental car for the week. I was told on Monday it would be ready by Friday. 10/27/23 comes along, I return my rental car, I make the dealership aware of my frustrations again and need my car by Friday, and they let me know it will not be ready that day. They tell me they will provide a loaner car on Sunday, 10/29/23. I start contacting them that day and they again fail to respond. Only after I had already called out of work now for the third time due to this whole scenario, did the dealership let me know at 8PM that they needed my location to drop off the loaner. This morning on 10/30/23 I went in there and said I wanted to speak with the owner, and a reimbursement. They said they could only provide me with the email of the owner who rarely responds and no reimbursement. No idea when my car will be ready at this point.
