Date of transaction was April 7, 2022. I paid $835 for removal of a tree. Our lawn sustained far more damage than was necessary from this outfit and they did not repair the damage despite acknowledging it. ***** and his team came to my house to remove a modest sized tree, 3 foot diameter tree at the trunk located near our fence. There had been steady rain overnight, and the lawn was wet and soft. Around mid-morning, I found ***** drawing deeply on a cigarette in my yard. He had not called or texted that he was on his way, and I had missed his arrival. His men had already moved a one ton compact tractor onto my property. He wore no rain gear and complained that he needed to complete the job quickly because he hadn't worn the correct gear. He proceeded to cut large branches and 15 foot sections from the trunk which landed heavily. These heavy impacts punctured a deep hole in the lawn and cracked our pavers. His men used the tractor to pick up the trunk segments when they could have simply cut them up and carried them to the truck. The tractor tore up the grass from its roots and the grinding treads carved ruts into the clay soil. The lawn damage will take a season to resolve at least, and the deep ruts will likely linger for several seasons. (See photos) The company owner came out to inspect the damage - he showed me photos of his wealthy family on vacation off the coast *******. Apparently his his son owns an island. I felt disrespected and put off. The owner ground a couple extra stumps on our property for a reduced fee, though he complained, and he insisted on cash only. He promised to have someone rake out the lawn and fill the holes and ruts with topsoil...he sent a team out unannounced. They found us not at home. I called to schedule a time, but they never followed through.
