My Husband came to Skin Sense between December 23, 24th of ******************************************************* for Christmas. Under the impression I had a year to redeem the gift card I made a reservation for Dec 13, 2023. The reservation was held with my debit card and in the event I did not cancel my reservation 24 hours in advance I would be charged. I came to my appointed 15 minutes early to fill out required paperwork and let them know I was using a gift card for payment. I gave the gift card to the front once my services were rendered. Upon being checked out Spa Director ******************* said he was having trouble with the gift card. I attempted to call my husband to get any additional information per ******* request about the purchase. Without success ***** said he would continue to figure out and investigate the problem. I gave him my number to contact me and we communicated back and forth a few days with him saying he could not find the gift card number that was written on the gift card. I explained to him that it sounded like an internal issue. WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR AUTHORIZATION Skin Sense charged my debit card on December 16, 2023 in the amount of $120.00. I called back on Dec 18, 2023 but ******************* was off, so I called back Dec 19,2023. I explained my disappointment, and frustration and anger with ***** and how this situation was handled, especially since I felt this was an internal issue (System technical issues, human error or thief) that they solved at the expense of me and husband. I explained My husband paid $120.00 in cash for the gift card in good faith, for me as a gift to use at my discretion at a later date. The gift card did not fall out of the sky in his lap, nor did he receive it in a malicious or illegal manner, He paid for it out right, however because Skin Sense could not find or admit that it was an internal problem, they decided to charge my debit card on file without my CONSENT or AUTHORIZATION which to me is FRAUD!
